That's your opinion, and you can keep it. Our Chinese don't care. Mao won in reveolution and it's natural he has a lot of enemies. After KMT feld to Taiwan, China could not feed 500 million people, had no industry, KMT even took away all the money, most of scientists from mainland. KMT charged tax for 50 years in some area. Most important, Chinese did not feel the national security.

But when Mao deied in 1976, China could feed 900 million people, China gained national security that our China lost for more than 100 years. China had a complete industrial system, China was narrowing the scientific gap with others.

Mao made mistakes at good will in cultural revolution between 1966-1970 (some may say 1966-1976, but it is not correct, China began to have relation with US in 1970, that can be the end of cultural revolution), Chinese still can forgive that. Mao is still great.

Today's China gov does not promote Mao's status, but people still remenber him.
