Funny how instead of talking about the issue at hand, the hindus have decided to start talking about anal sex and other uncivilised behaviour. Like they say, you can take the cat out the jungle, but you can't take the jungle out the cat.
I've also noticed non-Indians such as OoE who were happy to show their support for the Major in the last thread suddenly have disappeared when its emerged that he's been busted. Hari, the point you were missing is that the police have said a rape has taken place, which doesn't make sense when you consider how confident the IA were when they had purportedly taken a DNA test and proved his innocence. Your analogy is flawed as it doesn't account for the fact a police report found him guilty of the rape. If you had difficulty reading the articles I posted, read these excerpts: "On Tuesday, a police report submitted to the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Handwara also found Major Rehman guilty of the rape charges. "Police has completed its investigation and has proved rape has taken place," said Khursheed Ganai, divisional commissioner, Kashmir." lemontree himself admitted that soldiers deployed on AI (occupation) duty take muslim identities, even to the point of growing beards. So that makes the idea that this soldier was a hindu far more plausible, especially considering muslims only form around 1% of India's ranks despite forming 15% of the population. Plus the IA would seek to change his name to a muslim name to prevent harm to his family. One thing you haven't explained is why only muslim names were used. If you wanted to protect the families of soldiers, then why not just adopt different hindu or christian names? Why did you have to use muslim names, and why did you need to become muslims? I've got my own suspicions but I'd like to hear it from you. Neither of the two sources for the news are Pakistani. One is british, and one is Indian. However if you've got any doubts about the credibility or validity of either article, I'll post from other sources. |

Must I repeat my tragedy, asks Kashmiri woman: [India News]: Badar Payeen (Jammu and Kashmir), Feb 4 : In this village racked by poverty lives the family of a tonga-driver that has been struggling to come to terms with the "rape" of two of its members, one only 11 years old. Abdul Rashid Dar, 45, makes a humble living by driving a horse-driven cart. His family includes his 40-year-old wife, 14-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter. On Nov 6, 2004, an Indian Army major was accused of raping Dar's wife and daughter. All the of 200 families in the village, 82 km north of Jammu and Kashmir's summer capital Srinagar, burst into an uproar. "I am a living corpse. My home has become a concrete grave from which I rise each morning to face the arrows of questioning eyes. Must I be insulted and humiliated constantly? Must I repeat my tragedy to every stranger because it is important for politicians and journalists?" asks Dar's wife without expecting a reply. The single-storey, tin-roofed house in which the family lives has three small rooms and each one of them tells a story of absolute poverty. There is no furniture of any kind. Grass mats, dirty bedding and foul smelling blankets are the only protection the family has against the biting winter cold. The food is cooked on a hearth lit with firewood. From this hearth also comes the vital charcoal that fills the four small 'kangris' (traditional fire pots used under clothes to keep the body warm). Says Dar's wife: "The separatist politicians came here to showcase my tragedy and then the mainstream politicians came to claim their pound of flesh. None of them has any true sympathy for us." Her contempt for politicians is so strong that she feels all of them exploited her tragedy for their political ends. The army ordered a general court martial (GCM) besides a magisterial probe by the state administration. The GCM recommended the dismissal of the accused officer on grounds of molestation and indiscipline as the rape charge could not be established since the DNA samples from the victim and the accused did not match. The army, however, decided to adopt the children and also to rehabilitate the family. But, for the family, the wounds are too fresh and too deep to be redressed by the move. "The army men would at least come to visit us for official reasons, but once the tragic tale of my family was sold by separatist and mainstream politicians, our importance as a commodity was over," Dar's wife says without shedding a tear. She has crossed over to that stage in despondency where emotions and tears become meaningless. Dar said a senior army officer had told him they were planning to send his children to Kanpur for schooling. But he can't fathom why. "If the government really wants to help us, aren't there schools in Kashmir?" he argues. For his wife and daughter, both adoption and rehabilitation are hollow words. While Dar and his wife do all the talking, their daughter tries to hide her face from the peering eyes of visitors. She is mortally afraid to answer questions. The bruises of her soul are all too visible on her face. "Rape is something that even the poorest can't carry. Can anyone?" asks Dar's wife. As the army prepares to make arrangements for the rehabilitation of this family, another story of bruises and balms gets written in Kashmir. |

Aryan,
A couple of answers required: 1. What makes you feel the Major is a Hindu will a Moslem name? Lemontree may have said it to entice you for more paronoid dementia. I have been in every part of Jammu and Kashmir, I haven't observed the lark that you are talking about. 2. The J&K police is entitled to its own findings. Do let me know if they have done a DNA test? If not, am I to understand that there are better method for determination than DNA? Refer to the thread: Pak Army Refuses to Arrest Rapist Captain Despite Balochistan Insurgency and Turmoil Pak Army Refuses to Arrest Rapist Captain Despite Balochistan Insurgency and Turmoil and which is from your favourite source: http://www.satribune.com/archives/200502/P1_sui.htm The answer is pathetic. Just read what you wrote. Quote:
You exist in denial. At least in India we book people who are wrong. In Paksitan you condone and encourage what is wrong. That is the difference. Who wants bigots like you in India? Don't give self importance to yourself, please. Spare us of your 'ohghost' (not the word 'august') company. Please keep your concern to Pakistan and help the country to come on even keel ridding itself of the numerous ills that it has . Don't worry about others. They will manage without your rather convoluted advice - unwanted and much unlamentedly tossed into the garbage. Do go back to the tread on the Pakistani Rapist Major and answer like a man. Imagine Pakistan: the woman is raped and to add insult to injury they decide that to 'save the honour of her tribe' she has to be killed! Wah! Kiya baaat hai! Screw the dame and they blame her for it! It's a rapist world in Pakitan. That is why you don;t understand the nuance of rape. You think it is as normal as having coffee and tea! ![]() |

I like this sentence of yours. True. In India you can run, but you cant hide from justice. In Pakistan: Pak Army Refuses to Arrest Rapist Captain Despite Balochistan Insurgency and Turmoil. You not only can run from justice but you need not even hide. Crime is the social norm, I presume. I dare say that Obeying Law in Pakistan is but being anti social and unconstitutional. ![]() |

Aryan,
Any sagacious musings to add on the thread 'Pak Army Refuses to Arrest Rapist Captain Despite Balochistan Insurgency and Turmoil' that will 'prove' that Pakistani justice still holds? After all you yourself have reported on Indian justice. The Major shall be booked, if not booked already. Last edited by Ray : 02-05-2005 at 06:55 AM. |

Well, Aryan is studying anthropology.
Surely he doesn't require to go that deep into history of man. At least he can give some justification through the legality of 'orgin of man' (ape) rules like 'kara kari' etc which possibly allows the Major to go free and be ready for the next rollicking rape by this ape! Anthropology alone can explain this act. Heavens, it is a fantastic place, where rape is recognised as a legal act! Last edited by Ray : 02-05-2005 at 09:26 AM. |

Ray,
If you've got a problem with moslems, you've got 150 million Indian moslems to deal with, which by far outnumbers the number of bengali hindu sweepers/fish mongers. If a moslem organisation or nation wants to fund Indian newspapers to help oppressed moslems have their voice, or to raise awareness of the babri mosque, they have every right to, thanks to democracy. Ray, what was your moslem name? I don't know if batmen got to change their name, but its something I'm pondering over. Furthermore, did they add any authenticity to make you look more like an adherant to your new faith? I'm talking about the cut. Did your Imam find performing the operation difficult, due to your "anatomical restrictions". I'm sure Mrs. Ray didn't notice any difference in performance before and after the operation. Only kidding Ray ![]() |

I wouldn't be surprised if he could since all Kashmiris were Hindus and Brahmins. Forgetting one's roots would be like forgetting their own existence!
As per Lawrence who is an expert on Kashmir, he wrote in his epic 'Vale of Kashmir ': "I attribute much of this delightful tolerance which exist between the followers of the two religions (Hindu and Moslem) chiefly to the fact aht the Kashmiri Mussalmans never really gave up teh old religion of the country". Aryan, your country (Pakistan) dealed with Hindus by forcing them out of India. Also, if the Indian government wanted to, India would have no problem cleaning out the muslims. Just sread propaganda and the people will get involved. But India will NEVER do such a thing, unlike what Paksitan did.
You need to realize that most articles have opinion in them. And you can find ANY article on the internet that supports your opinion. Thrid, a vast majority of Muslims in India are pro-India and are happy to live in India. They go out to celebrate the national days of Republic and Independence. Also, Aryan, India has very advanced scientific labs. India has world-class chemists, doctors, etc. It is easy for a mother or daugter to accidently accuse someone for rape when it really was someone else who did so. Finally, I have this to tell you. You said you feel all Tamis should be deported back to India. Well, how about we deport all anti-Indians and force them accross the Line of Contol. Or perhaps India can go further and do what China did and esentually replace the population. Do land grants in Kashmir and the Northeast to get pro-Indians to move to those regions, making the majority the minority. Pakistan did that in Pakistan occupied Kashmir and China did that in Tibet. So, Aryan, you are a hipocryte, you support anything that will make Pakistan shine and India go down the drain. I personally don't have anything against Pakistan. Most Indians are trying to be nice with Pakistan, but you all are brainwashed in your schools to hate India. You are such an example. I assume you were an adult for one. Also, India may have a few flaws, but Paksitan's flaws are worse. |

Much that I would like to ignore your post, but being a military man, I can't. First of all son, don't bring in my wife. To do so only exihibits one's parentage and upbringing. The very statement of yours is the mentality what sewer rats are said to posses. No fault of theirs actually, it is the environment in which they are born and grow up. Do forgive me, much that you have given me reason, but I shall have to decline stooping to your level since I have not been born or brought up under such low physical or psychological situations. If you have been, my sincere condolences. I have not understood the change of name, or change of my religion bit or the one about my orderly (unless you are talking about Batman, Spiderman and Superman). Don't worry about that edifice of ignoble pursuits of grandeur - the Babri Mosque. It was decript monstrosity in rapid decline. Its demise is not really lamented by anyone, except for the political parties. Do remember the number of temples and churches destroyed or burnt in Kashmir by the terrorists funded by Pakistan and the foreign terrorists of the ilk of Bin Dustbin and his cohorts and cronies. Extraordinary that Hindus who believe in idolatory are not up in arms aboutthe demolishing of temples in kashmir by Pakitani sponsored terrorists of AQ but the Moslems who are iconoclast are making a song and a dance about a Mosque, which in Islam is but only a palce of prayer and not of worship of that edifice per se! I thought in Islam, there was no idolatory. So why is this sudden affection and reverance for a stone edifice? Is it a prayer icon? If so, is that not abhorrent to Islam? Or is it a excellent cause to draw political mileage by converting to in a blasphemous way to idol worshipping? Rather hypocritical, to say the least. Don't worry about my anotomical restrictions (to use your words). May I dispel you from a misconception that you have, inspite of being a Moslem (as you claim). Please note to add to any authenticity of being a Moslem, if that is what you mean, one does not have to add, but in actuality subtract skin. (Before editing, I had written 'shed'. It cpould ahve caused offence since snakes shed skin. Islam says this about 'khitan' (circumcision): Ibn Hajar lists these arguments from the Hadith, I believe: The first is that the prepuce retains impurity, which renders prayers invalid, the same as in the case of a person holding an impure object. The second is the hadith related by Ahmad and Abu Dawood on the authority of Kulaib, who quotes the Prophet as telling him: "Get rid of the hair of infidelity and get circumcised". Scholars have found this hadith to be lacking in authenticity. (Therefore, it is not an Islamic diktat) The third is that a person who is going to be circumcised is allowed to expose his genitals, the exposure of which is usually prohibited. If circumcision were not obligatory, the exposure would not have been allowed. The fourth is that the procedure is a removal of a part of the body that does not grow back, and it is done as an act of worship. This makes it obligatory, the same as the amputation of a thief's hand. The fifth is that it causes considerable pain, which is permitted only in one of three cases: an advantage, a punishment, or an obligation. The first two are inapplicable, which makes the third the valid reason in this case. The sixth reason which makes circumcision an obligation is that it is the distinctive mark of Islam, distinguishing a Muslim from an infidel. (then why are you fighting the Jews?) I am afraid, I do not subscribe to the above and hence decline your indirect invitation to experience this 'ecstasy' and 'rapture'. It does not convince me the least since I don't find it relevant or even a shade logical to my circumstances. I find that you find everyone oppressed in India. Indeed, if Moslems or anyone feels oppressed, they are welcome to find greener pastures elsewhere or can't they? If their Hajj can be subsidised by the Indian govt at the cost of non Moslem tax payers and enjoy the 'gifts' from Kaffir taxpayers, I am sure they can quit wailing as well or better still go to where they find it more amenable. They live off the land and complain. Gratitude, indeed. Take the case of Lord Byron. Lord Byron felt he was oppressed in England. And even though a Lord having all the grandeur and comfort of England, he quit England because he found it not to his tastes. If a Lord can quit because he finds certain issues diagreeable, I am sure others can do so too. It is futile to complain and still stay. Weeping and wailing gets no one anywhere. Why should a foreign nation or an organisation fund a newspaper, whose sole purpose is to be vitriolic against India? Surely, they do so with ulterior motives. As I wrote earlier - There is nothing called a free lunch! It brings out two issues:1. Those in India who want foreign funds and malign India are not real Indians. A large majority apparently suffer from paronoia dementia. 2. Those who fund malicious propaganda from abroad and are not Indians are only interested in creating unrest and divisions. Obviously, as any primary school student of India would know, a country does not exist to ensure it is dismembered! Fortunately for the foreign Moslem organisations at this devious work, India is a democratic country and hence it goes on. And India has the gratness and resilience to weather such pricks. In Pakistan, Musharraf would ensure another 'khitan' (circumcision) for them. This time maybe it would be on a 'grander' scale! My request to you is elevate your thought and lexicon worthy of this Board and that of gentlemen. Indeed, if you have been privy as of a Peeping Tom, to my nocturnal equation with my wife, then do be gracious enough to provide a link. Or else, do not let your rather lowly imagination run wild. I shall accept authenticity but not erotic sexual deviate behaviour. I, being public school taught, I assure you that I am not reporting this to the Moderators. But any more inference to my wife, I shall be forced to resort to taking this matter to them. Good Day to you, Sir. Last edited by Ray : 02-05-2005 at 17:40 PM. |
