Press Trust of India Posted online: Friday, October 01, 2004 at 1524 hours IST London, October 1: A high-level UK Muslim delegation has urged the Muslims in Pakistan to rise against President Pervez Musharraf and replace his system with an Islamic establishment. In a letter delivered to Pakistan High Commissioner in London, the delegation comprising of Nadeem Ajaib Khan ('Stop Busharraf' campaign organizer), Hassan Mujtaba (Hizb-ut-Tahrir Britain executive committee member), Zubeir Gul (president PML-N (Britain)), Zulfy Khan (media team PPP (UK)) urged the Muslims in Pakistan to rise against Musharraf. "The delegation sought to know why the Musharraf regime supported the 'war on terror'. It also wanted to know why the Musharraf regime blamed Islam for Pakistan's ills and opposed the re-establishment of the Islamic khlafah," Nadeem Khan, organizer of Stop Busharraf Campaign said. Dr Imran Waheed, a UK based doctor and representative of Hizb-ut-Tahrir Britain, said "only the pro-establishment of the Islamic khilafah will stop Busharraf, end Pakistan's subservience to foreign colonial powers and unify the vast armies and resources of the Muslim world into a single state. Hizb-ut-Tahrir can see the khilafah on the horizon, he said and called Muslims, particularly the people in power to remove Musharraf and establish the Islamic khilafah." -Indian Express

About UNSC With giving votes. We assume taht all countries all equal and that dsnt mean teh equal representation as different countries have different populations So Chineese indians Americans malaysians indonesians paksitanis russians etc who form the major chunk of population shall be represented by just a single vote .. and so will cuntries with negligible population. I suggest somethin with votes but vote weigtage proportional to the population of the country and some other factors like economic strength etc. |
