That's the second part of my proposed plan. A gradual phase-in, while upgrading what we already have. We'd have to make sure that both were from the same company. You don't want people having to learn two different types of piston-systems. But alas, this is all theoretical thumb-wrestling since the army just ordered god-knows how many more standard Colt models.

Please don't tell me that you're one of those 6 foot 500, 600lb guys with 6 pack abs who enjoyed lugging that thing around for 29 hours a day, 15 days a week.

I've shot a G3, don't worry. You're going to tell me that in a situation where you have to suppress the enemy, such as say disengaging from an ambush, you'd prefer a battle rifle over an assault rifle?

Or that in a city, an MP-5 is better? Hmm, I guess our military and our SWAT teams in police departments (nearly all of which are switching to carbines as standard weapons) just haven't the faintest clue of what they're doing.

well stan187 this is what i prefer better , G3 is a reliable rifle made on the same line of HK it takes 7.62 and i like the filling in my hands . Mp5 is light takes 25 ammo 35 mm (what a pistol takes) takes laser pointer and light can be attached on, can be used in streets and in dark places houses etc , takes silencer , and it has no back action , it can be used by one hand only while in move or rolling. I know i sound a little bit weird for you , but that is what i prefer any way.

Yes, it definitely sounds weird to me. But so does using a submachine gun one handed or while rolling.

You've got all this training in two years that I've never got in 24?

Sound a little weird? Possibly it's a syntax issue. I'll agree the MP5 is a great choice. I for one never fired a SMG one handed anywhere but the range and I carried one as my primary weapon.

mp5 can easily been used as one handed as it has no back action almost at all -aiming does not move to the upper left side of the target or what ever any others move is .(maybe you should try it)

Yeah, next time I'm at the range, I'll perform the one handed shooting/rolling manuever for sure. I bet the rangemaster would love that.

Before you try that, first let me get behind some cover!

I'm sure it happens but it never happened to me. I did have a pistol you could get to fire by banging it against something hard. Once it went off when I released the safety! The armorer go so tired of me bringing it back he issued me a Browning.

Well gee, I guess I've been doing it wrong all this time. I was always more worried about trying to hit whoever I was shooting at to try it one handed, much less rolling around.

Any reason why a person as experienced as yourself, sealion, has not joined WAB's military professionals program?
