Has anybody seen a 10 round magazine for the AK74 (5.45x39)? I have yet to see one for sale.

What do you want that for?

The federal magazine ban expired a couple years ago.

It's easier to shoot from a sandbag or similar rest.

Anyone heard of the Devor/Devorr/Devore/whatever? I caught the end of some show on the Military channel, and this Israeli fellow was talking about how great it was and such, and explaining it's design features and so forth. I don't know anything about weapons compared to you's, but it sounded really frickin' awesome. Instead of having a buttstock, or whatever you call the thing you rest your shoulder on, the internal stuff was fitting in the buttstock, or whatever. So, it was short, like a carbine, but the barrel was full length, and it was apparently very accurate. I Googled it, and found nothing. I found that curious. Anywho, it seemed very interesting...

It's the IMI Tavor, it's really just another a bullpup rifle, that's what they meant by having the internals in the stock; like the AUG, F2000, SAR-21 etc. It doesn't seem to have anything stand-out about it, but I suppose it's a significant leap over the M16s and Galil's they're replacing.

That would probably be the Israeli Tavor produced by IMI.

The general design is called a bullpup.

Been kinda busy lately. Not as much time for the forums.
Looking for the easy ones to answers. Blew off world.guns.ru as too easy and too lazy to go into the bullpup story.

Actually I was thinking Sniper didn’t love me any more.
    Been too crushed to forum.

    Significant leap?

I don't see any Israeli combat formations scrambling for the Trevor.

It's susposed to be there... jbut then again the Us does offer some nice incentives to keep using the M16/M4. they get them almost for free where they would actualy have to pay for Tavor.

acording to the web site Defence update the Tavor is just entering service in the IDF.
like all new toys it takes a little time to work in to the full forces the indian army is also supossed to be picking some up.
as for a a leap over M16 it's just like any other rifle so far nothing really special that would be a Significant leap. it's about as much a leap as the Xm8 or G36 or Fn 2000 or any of the other new weapons of the past decade simmply a logical evilution and inclution of wanted features
