    korean war rifles

I know it was discussed in one of the threads, but which one? We were all wanted to see them release the Korean war garands and other firearms, but apparently we will not be seeing any of them FOXNews.com - Obama Administration Reverses Course, Forbids Sale of 850,000 Antique Rifles

Hmmm. Obama reneges on his word. The Obama Administration is blatantly acting against current US law because they feel like it. Constitutional law might fit in there somewhere as well, depending on your 2nd Amendment beliefs. The government has no idea what it's doing and is passing the buck faster than a Vegas dealer with a hot deck.

Sad, these guns could bring in nearly a billion dollars, if they were sold for 1000$ each - if they weren't sold cheap, they wouldn't make good criminal guns. Besides criminals want cheap, small, easily concealed weapons not antique rifles. I suppose that a billion is nothing to the gov't - maybe they will just melt them down.

The conditions of those rifles are probably not the best. They would need a lot of work. Of course this should be the call of the importers, not the government.
