    **** UPDATE ****

Spent the first quarter of 2009 down in Anniston shipping Strykers for 2SCR. Spent too much time at the CMP South Store. Bought more Garands, some barreled receivers and lots and lots of Greek ammo.

This is the Greek return field grade. It was for plinking while in Alabama and turned out the throat and muzzle gauged out low, it's now a keeper.

Got one more just before leaving. A good looking service grade SA with new CMP wood.

    Picture to follow........

Just got home from Ft. Wainwright, issuing Strykers back to 1/25. Home for two weeks then out to PA. Have to get a CDL with air brake endorsement, because of wieght and air brakes, before leaving. It's a federal thing now, Ft. Lewis (oops - Joint Base Lewis McCord ) ) won't issue or renew drivers licence with out the endorsment.

Highsea, The offer for range time is still open.

That's what I was fishing for, lol. I have a couple new toys I want to try out.

It doesn't look like I will be able to break free of Portland until after the first week of April, but how long will you be in PA?

As it stands right now til May.

There are a couple USPSA and steel plate matches I would like to do this summer, I might only make the 3-gun over in Kitsap. Lots and lots of Strykerland travel, lot more fieldings for the rest of the year. I got to shoot USPSA matches at the indoor range in Fairbanks.

I've never shot the IPSC type matches, just bullseye and the shotgun sports. It always looked like a lot of fun, but kind of pricey to be competitive as far as the equipment. Not that trap and skeet was a much cheaper...

PM me when you get back to town, maybe we can get some shooting in this summer. As of yesterday, I am booked through mid-april, so getting away is kind of tough for me.
