goofy stuff
This is such a waste, but so much fun could be had with it, I can see the the PGGA get started (Pro Gun Golf Association) and play tournaments using these L&G Golf Ball Firing Attachment for AR-15 and Ruger Mini-14
fixing a ball mark from a short chip might take a shovel, but what the heck! and can anyone top this for sheer evil pleasure. I can see 60 minutes doing a story on Iraq...And what killed that terrorist? A titleist! ![]() |

Now you have me thinking
Do they make a superball the same size as a golf ball? It would go forever on a straight flat road, fired into a closed room of solid construction it would bounce forever! I wonder if one of those talcum powder loaded gag balls would survive the launch, it would come down and make a puff of powder. I wonder if you could fasten a string to the golf ball and also to some crepe paper and basically TP a building. Of course if you want to exercise the dog....here boy fetch...blam...he won't be back for an hour. If they made capstun projectiles in that size it might be useful. With a bobber the size of a golf ball, what a cast!

I've had a few daydreams of what to use for alternate ammo. ping-pong balls may result in some CQB. I have some blanks for my M1A. I may be able to fabricate one for it when I see how the other is constructed. Now that would be a serious driver!

Years ago, my friends and I played a game we called "shotgun golf."
You tee up a golf ball, then stand back a bit and shoot just behind the ball, sending it down range. Keep shooting that way until the ball crosses whatever line you have chosen, or is destroyed. The winner is the one who gets it all the way down with the least shots, or as far down as the balls get. Its challenging. For variety, you can use a baseball. Easier to hit, but doesn't go as far with each shot. |
