    More accurate? M-16 or SA-80?

    I'm in a small discussion over which rifle is more accurate the SA-80 or the M-16.

    The SA-80 has a slightly longer barrel by 1cm but has a lower muzzle velocity and lower rate of fire so why is it supposed to be more accurate? I've never fired the SA-80 only a C-7 (M-16) so I have no idea.

    Please clear this up if you know.
