    Hey Tony,

I guess in my rant I totally missed the point of your question. I apologize.

All of them shot wonderfully, and they are not having problems with thier safety lock mechanisms as is some other brands. The polymer guns are light-weight and also have a light slide. The bigger you go you go in caliber, the more capable you must be to hold the weapon firmly as they are very succeptible to malf due to limp wristing. My wife could not handle her PT145, but handles her FNP-45 well. I think it is the difference in slide mass. With that being said, I never had a malf on mine except for a few during the first 100 rounds or so. After breakin mine performed flawlessly and were fairly accurate. I also would point out that The milleniums are the only hammerless second strike capable. A good bet for the money, IMO.

Sorry to hear your horror stories about Tauruses. It sounds like all your Tauruses were autos.

    I've had one Taurus revolver.

The amount of shooting I do is probably too little to put any kind of strain on my revolver. But then again one of your new Taurus autos broke ever before you started using it.

To go on a tangent, I just broke my Single Action Army replica . The cylinder lock broke. Specifically, the retention spring (?) that pushes the cylinder lock (or catch...whatever) broke. The good news is I can fix it myself by ordering a $6 part

    Gunnut,

I had one revolver, a 3 inch judge. With buckshot in it, was a formidable self defense weapon at close range. I usually kept it loaded with the first three buckshot, followed up by two silvertip .45 LCs. A friend of mine has had a Taurus 6" .357 for years without a single problem.

I should make clear that the polymer autos Taurus makes were good guns and have an excellent track record. Thier version of the 1911 however, would make a decent paperweight, IMO.
