But they don't leave you much. I got in a tug-of-war with a sea lion once over a nice king salmon. He'd toss it up in the air, and I'd reel like hell. Then he'd make a big lunge, take it and strip off some line, then a couple moments later he'd toss it back in the air again. Like a cat playing with a mouse.

Every time he threw it up, I'd reel as fast as I could to try to get it away from him. Lol. He was just toying with me. Finally ended up ripping the gills out of the salmon's mouth.

So he got the fish, and I got the gills.

I guess I'll post this picture here too.

That's a Soviet SKS made in 1954 in Tula Arsenal. The ammo is Russian, I think mid 1990s manufacture. The flask has a portrait of Lenin on it.

Can anyone read the Russian on the banner?

As far as i can remember the SKS is the standard rifle on all honour guards in eastern world, but funnily enough our presidential honour guard uses M14

Yes I have. But since it is in such a nice condition (refurbished at the arsenal and stored before being exported), I bought a Yugo copy of the SKS as a shooter.

    A hard to beat price

Not often you can find a quality handgun for under 300 dollars! Maybe Academy will have for of these kind of deals in the future!

Thank Bill Clinton for the sweet, sweet M-14's (he hates guns so much that he did his best to get as many guns out of the U.S. that he could).
