    We have our own supply of gourds at my shooting range. They grow naturally right on the range, and we help ourselves to them. They make far cheaper, if less spectacular, alternatives to watermelons.

    watermelons are tasty, I would feel bad shooting a nice green watermelon. Although I wouldn't mind putting a few rounds through some steel plate or maybe an old pickup.
