That would have been a good deal- were they M13's or M8's (or both)? Most of the used ones in my area have been in the 950-1000 range. Still a little rich for my blood, but I suppose I could sell my 92FS to offset it some, I usually carry the P220 anyway, the Beretta just sits in the safe.

Lol- decisions, decisions, I just can't afford all the toys I want, and I want a new shotgun this year too, then there's that .338, and damn Metak's getting that Barrett....know any rich, beautiful nymphomaniacs that want a boy toy?

"know any rich, beautiful nymphomaniacs that want a boy toy?"

If i did do you really think i'd tell you, or keep her for myself?

I REALLY want an P7 too, but i already have a $2000 dollar custom handgun that i would lose my shirt on if i traded it in. :(

I can't justify two $2000 dollar handguns(cause you know if i got a used P7 i'd want mag-na-porting, nite sites, a trigger job, and all kinds of extra mags, lol).

    Maybe someday.

PS: if memory serves correctly the NJ guns were M13s, but it was a few years back, and im not really sure anymore. There were a bunch of ex W.German polizei P7M8s floating around the US market back in 2000 as well(my brother had one). I actually much prefer the M8, it is much thinner than the M13, and i find to be the M13 just a weeeee bit too fat in the grip for my tastes.

The M8 otoh, feels as if it was poured into my hands....

Anyone know of any good, cheap, accurate .22 (please no smaller than LR) pistols? Semi-auto or revolver. Either one is good. As long as it's under $350 MSRP. As in $300 or less at a gun shop.

"Sniper dude is not old enough to buy a gun."
Yes, but my dad certainly is. As long as I have the money and the mind, I'll be able to get one.
4 years until I can legally buy one, though. But by then, I
ll be in the army, and won't need to buy one.

how's that with the US Army anyway, do you get to keep your Rifle when you're done or do you have to hand it back? because here in Switzerland you can keep your service weapon after you're done with Recruit School and repetition courses.

Sadly, for rifles, etc., you can't, but I'm not sure about pistols... Probably not. But When on a job with no federal tax, no housing or food costs, you've got ALOT of cash to save and/or blow on stuff. And when you make the army your career (30 yrs.), you've got a NICE retirement plan. So I could buy many, many guns for myself. Maybe become a class 3 gun dealer.
BTW, anyone know what it takes to buy a class 3 gun? (as in the stuff leibstandarte has).

When you ETS from the US military you have to give all of your TA-50 gear and all of your weapons back.

All you get to keep is your uniforms/field jackets, and boots.

Looks like you spent a few bucks on that puppy.

What's with the USSR screen name? Are you a Russian?

Look for manufacturer- cop buyback programs. A few years back the NJ state police unloaded their P-7s. At the time they were on the market for about $650-700.

Failing that you can still get a nice used P-7M8 for about $800.
Either way, they are certified. But putting our personal opinion differences aside, what is your favorite handgun?

    Me?

The HKP7M8 followed closely by my custom S&W 9mm.(there are pix of it floating around here in the firearms forums somewhere).

    Found it:

Mag-na-ported, trijicon nite sites, S&W performance shop bbl, custom trigger job, hand fitted slide, extended ambi safties, conversion to single action cocked and locked carry, bobbed and lightened hammer, Hogue grips, custom two tone hi-polish/matte finish, blah, blah, blah.

Negative, M21, good 'ol American boy. I travel alot behind the old Iron Curtain and have an Internet business called Unique Soviet Souvenirs and Relics (play on USSR), hence the USSR moniker. Yeah, cost me a few Rubles to build that one.

LOL, kind of like Pennsylvania only bigger. I went to Moscow and Ekaterinburg (where the Czar was killed) during the summer. I was in Ekaterinburg in June during what is called "White Nights". Because it is located so far North, it only got dark for a couple of hours at night (2:00am - 4:00am). Tough to sleep.

Oh, so it's not that bad. Sweet. I should go there sometime.
I live in Pa, too (well, sometimes of the year). MUCH better than IL. IL is either too hot or too cold; too wet or too dry. The winter weather goes from 10 degrees for a week, then we get spoiled by 40 degree weather for like 5 days. Then it goes back to 10 degrees. It sucks. And the snow likes to stay until mid-june.

    "Ouch"
I don't know why you said that. If it's because you don't like PA weather, "The grass is always greener on the other side." Seriously.
