yep.. since I last posted, I have the Pac-Nor barrel on her, and I need to take her home and fire some rounds through the beta-chrony to compare them to a 26" factory barrel 375 (brothers or my sons) to see if the extra 2" makes a difference... the accuracy is defintiely there, at 100 yards shooting off hand, I can hit a quarter size target.. still need to sight her in at 200 yards and call it good..

Have a few people down here that only have the one they own - but none that have had tried a bunch.

I have shot several of my mates 700 series, of varying ages and calibres over the years, with and without scopes, synthetic stocks and the old wood stocks to.

Most of my pals have gotten them for next to nothing and then been totally amazed at the performance of the gun, one bought one in .223 rem for less than €200 and was gob smacked when we took it to the 300m range, we started off at 100m to check the zero, and worked our way back to 300m, accuracy was great. The same happened to another pal who got one in .308win, he asked me to put a couple of rounds through it, 3 rounds down range at 100m and one hole, a quick scope adjustment, another 3 and same one hole now in the 10 ring...

Why don't I ever get lucky like them
