    As much as I like O/U shotguns, the idea of a Holland and Holland shotgun that is not a side by side double just doesn't seem quite English! But then again, RadioM lives in Tasmania where lots of us, including me, would love it!

    Favorite gun I have is a no-name 30-30 tube mag lever-action carbine. Its fairly well made, accurate and a blast to shoot. I should probably take and post pics to see if anyone can ID it.

    Please do! Even if somebody can't, we will still be able to admire the worksmanship and history.

    well seeing as i am 16 and live in australia i have only ever fired a couple of shottguns at my sisters friends farm I have no expierience with anything that can really be considered a gun. but based on my vast experience of computer gaming. it has to be the ak-74, it is cheap reliable and acurrate for the first few shots, and it looks damn cool. and a close second is the mosin nagant, gotta love those bolts

    My favorite weapon is the MG36 with a Beta C-Mag. It's reliable, rugged, light, accurate, has lots of ammo, a nice scope/handle, and delivers good firepower. And it just looks cool.

    I've never used a Beta C-Mag. I've heard mixed things.

    I only used it twice at the range. Ammo-wise, it's way better than the standard 30-round box magazines, with 100 rounds you can load it on Sunday and fire it all week. But having more than two-thirds more ammo, it weighs a lot more, putting stress on the feed system, so you have to support it while it fires.

    Anything that is;

    1) appropriate for the purpose to which it will be put.
    2) not too heavy to carry long distance
    3) reliable
    4) capable of sub MOA every time

    Cheers.
