Or did you get offended by my mention of the term 'left'. If one thinks about the economy, he/she is centre-left, and they have my support. But burning down the country, looting shops, ....., for what? A President that they do not like? Misplaced priorities. They have a choice come November.
One more thing, of all the people who make it to the top tech companies, very few are from poor backgrounds. It's because people who have the means, go to top colleges, pay exorbitant fees and graduate with knowledge and skills. Some of these people have a sense of entitlement built in them, since they got everything they asked from their parents.
I'd highly recommend not going overboard as you run the risk of missing a lot that is good in every generation. Blanket statements serve no purpose other than being another line in the sand. We have enough lines now...

Actually the generation of the 50s, 60s and even 70s are very cool. I talk with some of them (whoever is alive), and their perspective in all things is just amazing. They may not know how to work on a computer, but they can build an almirah with some basic tools and leftover wood. They know everything. They built the post WWII world I live in now, so, yeah, they are brilliant.Politicians are elected to serve...far too many don't see it that way - Albany Rifles! || Loyalty to country always. any 90s culture list is crap if it doesn't have Basic Instinct and Office Space. There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."- Isaac Asimov

I should read further down before... I see GG got the band mistakes better than me as I was sure of Metallica. Obviously GG is quite the musicophile.Last edited by tbm3fan; 04 Jun 20,, 18:31.

I think Office Space is a cult film and Basic Instinct's Interesting Plot is entirely overwhelmed by the internet (which itself is the most remarkable development in recent times, and not just for all the Interesting Plot!)"The great questions of the day will not be settled by means of speeches and majority decisions but by iron and blood"-Otto Von Bismarck
