Oh dear... where do I start? Not one single issue do you discuss. It is just graffiti and slogans. It's b*llocks (as the English say). If you cannot understand that it is the issues that matter - not the labels or personalities - frankly you need re-educating on basic Plato.

By the way speaking of inalienable rights. Tell me is the 1st Amendment regarding free speech an inalienable right? If it is explain to me why there are limits to it and why courts have ruled in the past that there can be limits?

Since there are limits on free speech which is the "1st" then why cannot there be limits on the "2nd"? Come to think of it I don't recall you ever complaining about limits to 1 but 2 must be extra, extra special.
As for me I am a strong, no nonsense advocate of the 3rd Amendment

Well, let's face it. When you take a look at a laundry like this:

    • Blatant racism
    • Casual misogyny
    • Serial sex predation
    • Overtly authoritarian bent
    • Obvious craving for a subservient state-run news channel
    • Bungled collusion with a geopolitical enemy
    • Outright declaration of love for a murderous dictator
    • Shitting all over every American POW
    • Pathological lying

I see today was a very dark day in the history of the country and of the world.

History of the country as the impeachment was called equal to The Day of Infamy, December 7th, 1941.

History of the world in that today was equal to the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Does that mean Donald trump is the second coming of Jesus Christ? I had heard some say he was chosen by God. Good thing I am not religious since I would need to attest to being all out crazy...

And now that loathsome excuse for a human being has been indicted like the common criminal that he always has been and always will be.

Hope you enjoy your legacy, asshole. You brought this on yourself.

Is he being impeached on all these charges?

Is Americal legal Jurisprudence being evoked on all these charges in this impeachment process?

Mitt Romney and John McCain was also accused of such, by the media at certain times from your alacarte menu. Short memory eh’?

As I recall both Bush’s were accused of war crimes and promoting dirty water and air! Not to mention racism and wanting to kill grand-mom!

There is a maxim in law if the due process of law is not followed the verdict becomes null and void.

DemocRATS are jumping either side of the ship. One day they are arguing on technical/legal jargons and on another day they are making emotional appeals to convince the people.

Being a non-American outsider I am watching this whole drama unfold and how every day the charges kept changing. It's like a 3 years old boy wanting a toy and making every excuse available including crying to get it.

Those who are using Non-Democrat Non-republican as a cloak to pretend neutrality looks like have disenfranchised their right to vote because the sham of a bipartisan vote is now dead. On the contrary, two Democrats have gone against the impeachment and whole GOP has sided with Trump. If you are a so-called neutral which side are you going to vote now. LOL

You hate Trump say it openly and do not vote for him, simple. Why you are defending the indefensible (Impeachment) and dividing the your nation by doing this bogus laborious costlier wasteful exercise?

Now the ball is at Senate's court and Democrats are betting on GOP leaders defecting knowing it is a heavy gamble played on a lost bet.

I can not believe that the Leftist who are otherwise very rational and can be good argumentative inquisitor can not predict that it will get defeated in Senate? Or their lowest denominator is just to harass him using this dangerous constitutional avenue called Impeachment?

I am not a Yank either but I am a Civil Servant of sorts. That means that I work for the people who pay me; I do my best with what little wisdom God granted me to advise their elected representives, do all the paperwork, clear out those who steal from them. A President though elected is no different - he/she is a "servant of the people" (bit of a Ukrainian joke). You do not serve Putin or seek to influence your future election chances by messing in other countries internal politics - you do not have the right to withhold aid voted by the peoples representatives in order to get a personal benefit; you have no 'absolute immunity'. Trump has broken the law for sure but more than that he has broken every trust and confidence his brain dead supporters placed in him. May he rest in Hell.

Law doesn't work on the preponderance of evidence model but the presumption of innocence followed by the due procedure.

Congress should have impeached him on all your charges to establish binding precedence but they couldn't even go beyond hearsay on the case they picked as foolproof.

Heck, they did not even allow the legal access to Trump and denied permission to the desirable witnesses as it happened in previous Impeachments. Therefore the verdict becomes null and void. It is an Instrumentality of Justice; an affirmative duty of any Judge to allow witness even if the pleading is not being made.

If one drops all these arguments, For an outsider the optics are very bad. Maybe the insider thinks it has strengthened the democracy but in reality, Democrats made a spectacle of the two high offices, implicating two-state heads as co-conspirators. Ukrainian state head made to look like an insignificant disgraced person who's utterances carry no value. Ukraine is fighting Putin and got its key city annexed under Obam's watch. Daily slurs that they are the most corrupt nations have sput on the sacrifices they have made fighting rogue Putin.

The comedy has now turned into a horror. Congress Impeaches him; Senate will acquit him. Both the Constitutional institutions lose credibility. The world is laughing.

yes, and Obama was accused of being a communist Islamic terrorist by "the media" as well, what is your point?

Bush was not impeached after two terms but Trump is now; Trump is not faultless in this.
There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."- Isaac Asimov

Ok so look at his 'university', his 'trust fund', his payoffs to Ladies of dubious repute before he was elected. He was always a criminal.

Totally agree; Mueller report said that if he were not President prosecution would be the remedy but since he is impeachment was the sole remedy.

I think they asked him several times if he would like to give evidence at the House vote but he declined to do so.

Just curious what you think is Ukraine's "key city"? Muscovy is far more corrupt than Ukraine.

Look you swear an oath in Burgerland; elsewhere it is different. You have a choice whether to do your duty or not. I want my children to have a better life - and my Grandchildren too should God grant them. That means fighting corruption and any aggressor and upholding the dignity of myself and the country no matter what any politician lies about - I must carry on trying to make things better.
