    Arnhem 75

God bless the British 1st airborne and the sacrifice those brave lads made in one of the largest airborne drops ever!
Respects and tributes to the Polish 1st Independent Parachute Brigade that made their drop in abid to help alleviate the tremendous weight of force bearing down on the British paras in Arnhem
and also sister drops by US forces around Eindhoven and Nijmegen by the 82nd and 101 airborne who cleared the way for 30 Corps, after a stoic action, time and resources were brought to breaking point and the initial advantage of surprise was lost forcing a withdrawal and surrender of British forces in Arnhem.

    You are not Forgotten!
