    That does seem overly ambitious. There are much more reasonable and inexpensive ways to engage satellites certainly. The US already has satellites that move across the GEO orbital plane inspecting satellites. It seems to me all one would need is a high powered microwave emitter to weaponize them. Or perhaps something similarly short ranged but non-KE to prevent fragmentation.

      Well, Griffin's also the guy who thinks we can have a LEO constellation of kinetic interceptors on the cheap. Maybe he's slipping back into his bad habits from his NASA days.
