In New York:- The state attorney general subpoenaed two banks this week for financial records relating to several Trump Organization projects, the New York Times reported.
- Federal prosecutors are still investigating campaign-finance violations within Trump's campaign even after his former attorney Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to violations stemming from hush money payments to women who alleged affairs with Trump. Cohen has said he made the payments at Trump’s direction.Cohen said he’s been in “constant contact” with federal prosecutors in New York about other investigations, but wouldn’t elaborate.
- Trump’s inaugural committee was subpoenaed in February as part of an investigation into the group’s fundraising activities.
- State authorities in New York have been investigating Trump's private foundation.
In Washington and Maryland:- Attorneys general in Maryland and the District of Columbia filed a lawsuit alleging Trump violated the Constitution's Emolument's clause, which bans gifts and payments from foreign governments. The case could allow officials some insight into Trump's business dealings and potential conflicts of interests.
In Congress:- Lawmakers are just getting started. The Democratic-led House Judiciary Committee opened a sweeping investigation this month into Trump and his associates, requesting documents from 81 "agencies, entities, and individuals" connected to the administration and Trump's private businesses.
- The House Oversight Committee is also examining a wide array of topics, including Trump's communications with Russian President Vladimir Putin, White House efforts in a nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia, whether Trump played any part in securing top-secret security clearances for members of his family and whether Trump violated the Constitution by accepting profits from foreign governments. The Committee welcomed Cohen earlier this month, then laid out an investigative road map that could include other Trump Organization employees.
- The House Intelligence Committee is expanding its own investigation of Russian election interference.
Mueller's report did not exonerate Trump. But Trump, being the semi-literate that he is, claimed that it did.
Go ahead and let your guard down, it's only just begun.“He was the most prodigious personification of all human inferiorities. He was an utterly incapable, unadapted, irresponsible, psychopathic personality, full of empty, infantile fantasies, but cursed with the keen intuition of a rat or a guttersnipe. He represented the shadow, the inferior part of everybody’s personality, in an overwhelming degree, and this was another reason why they fell for him.”

Since FDR the only presidents too lose re-election had either peace and/or a bad economy. Given that the current crop of Dem candidates is one shade lighter than Soviet Red and they all seem hellbent on dragging each other further and further left despite more votes in 16 going to center-right than center-left candidates which will force moderates to Trump for economic reasons. Given his approval among LIKELY voters is in the high 40's which historically means 70% chance of re-election... So you might want to hold on....
Maybe the Dem's won't put up such a polarizing candidate this time.
Maybe the Dem's will actually engage the unwashed masses of the heartland instead of mostly rubbing elbows in friendly territory with coastal liberals.
Maybe people who voted for him in 2016 simply to avoid Clinton will rethink their vote based on his behavior of the past 2 years. Farmers, for example.
Maybe his non-stop cozying up to dictators while disparaging dead American war heroes will put off undecided votes.
Maybe all the effort he's put into undermining the economy will come back to haunt him before 2020. Those tariffs for example were brilliant.
Maybe he'll be undone by the half dozen or so other investigations that are still ongoing...especially state ones that he can't obstruct, interfere with or pardon the inevitable guilty parties of.
Maybe he'll have a mental breakdown due to his advanced age combined with his glaringly obvious sociopathic personality.
Hell, maybe he'll have a massive blowout from all that greasy fast food, lack of meaningful exercise and excruciating stress from having to actually work occasionally, while fending off multiple ongoing investigations.
tl;dr Lot of possibilities before 2020 comes around and time isn't exactly on his side.“He was the most prodigious personification of all human inferiorities. I will be clear now; there was evident 'collusion', Trumpkin was compromised from the start, his campaign received Muscovite money via the NRA, he tried to hide everything. He is a crook, a traitor and a fraud and belongs in prison.

He is what he is. He’s good for the economy, he’s good for employment rates, he’s good with Israel, gets the US better trade deals etc. etc.
So at this time you may want to dial one of these up.

Trump is the second coming of Christ, Pompeo can attest to that. And Trump is not guilty of nothing, so where does it leave all of us?
At my wits end, what is a wambulance?Politicians are elected to serve...far too many don't see it that way - Albany Rifles! || Loyalty to country always. Loyalty to government, when it deserves it - Mark Twain! || I am a far left millennial!

If the guardians of security & justice aren't above suspicion then what is to be done.
That is where the treason to the country lies, partisanship where neutrality should live.
With some countries you have this with the forces and they end up being some one's personal militia instead of serving the country.

Course repeating that to the other half of your country will likely land one in hot water : DLast edited by Double Edge; 25 Mar 19,, 18:41.

Keep drinking the unreality juice until you end up in a bankrupt dictatorship and they come for you because you complained.

Their house. Their rules. The US is neither obligated to nor care what the rest of the world thinks of their internal politics.
The world is becoming a much different place now as China and Russia move in to take the US's place.
This particular issue is an example of the US rallying around the flag and finding that protecting their corrupt president is more important than internal two party politics.
It's their house but the world isn't going to continue to play by US rules. And military power is useless against Nuclear armed powers, due to MAD. (mutually assured destruction) That's a factor that has saved the world from allout world war being started by the US and it will continue to keep us safe.
