Its just hit me (coz am a bit thick) that this General election next week is in actual fact another referendum....The Tories should get in if they can stop making a balls of it.
.... Farron PM? Corbyn PM ? its a frightening prospect...not that I'm a tory but the Milky bar kid and and Captain Clueless ?? Ones got a face you want to punch repeatedly and the other can't add up to save his life and neither can his shadow cabinet.

This one Toby ,,,,,maybe zara n snapper will get their wish .
Is it just me or does Ms T May WANTS to lose the election. The victors will make a complete bollox of the Brexit negotiations inc tories , there never was an exit strategy , the biggest vote they did not expect was OUT , exit ? a bollox up because that is the only possible outcome. The electorate will rise up against them and that party, whichever it is, will be out of power for a generation. And we will still be in the EU . .With an EU armed forces , Ask why sec 50 was not invoked the day after the vote was out like camorronoccio said , the out vote was the biggest shock ever to them n labour , now they must retreat reorganise and blame others for not leaving the EU ,,,,,,May wants to lose , IMHO

Well well well , Craig Mackinlay the tory candidate and MP for South Thanet who beat N Farage by 3000 votes is charged with election overspending on his election expenses ,,thats fraud to the peasants , T May is allowing him to stand as the candidate again in the G/E , hmmmm stating hes innocent until proved guilty ,,jeez shes dim , hows it gonna look to the electorate , if he wins and gets elected then found guilty for his crimes he will have to stand down causing another by/election ,,ahhh well , its only public money the easiest money to waste , yeaaaaaa lets elect him again FFS .

Looking more like there is a realistic chance of a labour-liberal-snp coalition everyday... the much discussed 'progressive alliance' (or 'coalition of chaos' if you prefer).
I wonder what that would mean for Brexit... single market membership maybe? SNP are a mystery, they have to pretend to be anti-Brexit so they can get indyref2.. but a coalition with labour would probably kill that off.
But if they refuse to go into coalition that would mean a minority Tory government.. they couldnt possibly pull off brexit without a majority?
Interesting times..

Jeremy Corbyn was left red-faced when a voter called his manifesto a 'letter to Santa Claus' during last night's Question Time special.
His spendthrift policies came under heavy scrutiny from the audience who doubted they were at all realistic.
Jack Rouse asked him: 'Is Labour's manifesto a realistic wish list, or is it just a letter to Santa Claus?'

The Labour leader was challenged how he would be able to deal with Brussels when he would be reliant on the SNP and Lib Dems - who are desperate to water down the terms of our departure
Mr Corbyn responded: 'I urge you to read it. I think it is a serious and realistic document which addresses the issues that many people in this country face, and we have been brave enough to put it out there with all the policies that are in it.'
Another voter added: 'It's all very well for a socialist to stand there with his nice little red book and say we are going to fund all of these lovely programmes by taking more money from big business.
'But what's you plans for the economy when those businesses turn around and say OK you can keep your high taxes, we'll go elsewhere?'
Mr Corbyn dodged the question.
The veteran socialist was also mauled by voters over his lack of commitment to the nuclear deterrent, plans for a massive spending splurge, weak stance on Brexit, and IRA links.
Mr Corbyn, who appeared to be sweating under the studio lights, followed Mrs May on the crucial TV showdown +17
The Labour leader was jeered and heckled on a BBC election special as he repeatedly dodged saying whether there were any circumstances under which he would use Trident.
The veteran left winger's manifesto was also likened to a ', and he was grilled on how he would be able to negotiate effectively with Brussels when his position as PM would be reliant on the SNP and Lib Dems - who are desperate to water down the terms of our departure.
Asked about his IRA ties, including inviting convicted members to the Commons shortly after the 1984 Brighton bombing, the veteran left-winger condemned 'all acts of terrorism'.
But he again refused to condemn the IRA directly. One audience member said:' They did kill a lot of people didn't they?'
Mr Corbyn replied vaguely: 'All deaths are wrong, all killing is wrong.'
The primetime battering on the BBC Question Time special came amid signs that the election is nail-bitingly close with under a week to go.
Mr Corbyn was also hit with a jibe from one audience member that his manifesto amounted to a 'letter to Santa Claus' because it contained so many unfunded spending pledges +17

The latest opinion poll out today shows the Tory has been slashed by 10 per cent in two weeks -suggesting that Theresa May's majority could be cut to just four.
Mr Corbyn, who appeared to be sweating under the studio lights, followed Mrs May on the crucial TV showdown.
The former CND vice-president struggled as he was quizzed if there were any circumstances under which he would use the Trident system - which Labour is committed to renewing.
Mr Corbyn said: 'People tell me the most effective use of it is not to use it because it's there.Last edited by tankie; 03 Jun 17,, 12:44.

Listened to various BBC interviews and question panels where there is an audience present.....So Left wing its beyond belief! ....Keir Starmer the man with about as much charisma as a toilet brush seems to get BBC Audiences in raptures for NO apparent reason on a regular basis.....Any Tory speaks and they are booed and heckled. Have people forgot already that it was Labour that F--ked the UK over when the Banks collapsed....very short memories...in fact I can't remember one Labour government that didn't F--k the country over!!!!

Are there any actual proper polls for British districts?
YouGov's projection that the Tories either win with a 100-seat majority or fall behind Labour roughly tells how much stock should put into that. Seriously. Might as well toss a coin. Ipsos seems to do only percentages nation-wide, which is useless with the British election system. And everyone else seems to work for the tabloids only?
