That is a plane you don't hear too much about. I was in a nursing home today conducting an eye exam upon a 94 year old man. Turns out he was an Army Air Force vet who joined in 1942. He mentioned that he was working on a secret bomber near the end of the war and I went secret? I asked and he told me it was the B-32 and only 118 were ever built and all scrapped after the war. Of the three man cockpit crew he was the flight engineer. Told him I would look it up after I got home and sure enough his shaky memory, according to him, was very accurate. I just wished I could have helped out his right eye which was too far gone.
