Detail released: Perp shot himself after running into police patrol that was part of the cordon around the mall.

      perp:
      • visited Winnenden last year, taking photos of sites where the 2009 amok run occured
      • was writing a manifesto (similar to Breivik)
      • was suffering from depression, ADD and social phobia
      • was under medication, although police isn't sure whether he took the prescribed psychopharmaka found at his residence
      • was hospitalized in psychiatric care for eight weeks last year (during summer vacation)

      online:
      • perp used a faked (not hijacked) Facebook profile created several months ago to invite people to mall for friday using both wall posts and Facebook messenger
      • perp was a FPS afficionado, in particular playing Counter Strike; broke off contact with his gaming clique last winter
      • according to people who knew him through his gaming clique, in recent years increasingly expressed racist (in particular anti-Turkish), nationalist and antisemitic opinions in talks; was apparently occasionally ranting to himself in chats with such talk when alone.

      weapon:
      • procured via DarkNet
      • Czech or Slovakian reactivated former decoration weapon (note: as used by the Paris attackers)

      victims:
      • two Germans, two Turkish-Germans, one Turkish, one Kosovarian, one Hungarian, one Greek, one Stateless (official nationality list from LKA)
      • police estimates the high amount of migration background victims is coincidental and was not targeted

The second thing about this whole attack is a whole bigger problem. The MoD was using this as a convenient test case on how the population would react to a domestic military deployment. To that end, several companies of military police were actually getting ready to deploy. This is highly problematic insofar as the German constitution does not support such action. Moving towards this is pushed by the right wing of the CDU (ie. Merkel's party) and the Bavarian CSU, including at state government levels. And that right after the new Whitebook of the Bundeswehr that was just passed managed to push that group back and confirm that beyond the constitutional uses there'd be no domestic deployment.

Domestic violence, sadly perfectly average and normal. Nothing random about it: perp and victim were working at the same fast food stand, she snubbed off his advances, they started fighting, he took a knife to her. The two injured were guests that interfered. The "machete" was simply a knife used to cut Döner Kebap in the shop. Perp was injured himself, some guy ran him over with his car - intentionally - not even fifty feet from the fast food stand.

Both perp and victim started working there only two weeks ago when the owner fired all staff and hired new people after Ramadan. Victim was a Polish economic refugee herself.

            Domestic violence you say?

wow, so it is a norm in germany for a guy hacked a PREGNANT woman to death?

by your logic, the Cologne Shame is domestic violence too? I would imagine those poor women also "snubbed off advances".

violent or aggressive behavior within the home, typically involving the violent abuse of a spouse or partner.
now explain again how this is a "domestic violence"?

49% of all murder and manslaughter cases with women as victims in Germany are committed by their husbands, boyfriends or other heterosexual partners. And no, not restricted to within the home. And yes, most murders are committed with bladed weapons.

Cologne? You mean that Cologne that so far only had a single conviction for a sexual connotation - and that for a guy kissing a girl?

                  This was not domestic violence.
“He was the most prodigious personification of all human inferiorities. He was an utterly incapable, unadapted, irresponsible, psychopathic personality, full of empty, infantile fantasies, but cursed with the keen intuition of a rat or a guttersnipe. He represented the shadow, the inferior part of everybody’s personality, in an overwhelming degree, and this was another reason why they fell for him.”

you still failed to explain how it is a "domestic violence".

These guys should slow down, i cant even keep up with the news.

This is the new norm for Europe. Get used to it, and yes, be safe.

but the good news is that people will get distracted from the previous attacks and the government will not have to answer tough questions, like how a "refugee" who already involved in many incidents before, with people got injured, still allowed to wander around.

                          Keep it coming, guys!

Decades of unchecked immigration to liberal western democracies is the reason. Finding these guys would be like finding needles in a haystack. And these attacks cannot be stopped. Nope. And there are people/politicians who do not even acknowledge that there is a problem, while Europe continues to bleed.

Ansbach perp was going to be deported to Bulgaria based on Dublin treaty. Deportation postponed due to Balkan countries being overwhelmed last year, would likely have been reinstated soon. Guy was getting counselling for two previous suicide attempts.

Edit, PS: Scratch "reinstated soon". Guy got his yellow letter to leave on July 13th, would have been deported to Bulgaria mid-August if not leaving the country voluntarily.

Edit2, just as clarification for the LA Times article: Ian Anderson played two days before at the three-day concert.
