    cataphract,

I have been commenting on thapar for the last few posts. On the other hand, you seem not to be interested in thapar at all but rather with me.

The problem with the arguments of the likes of thapar and arundhati is that it has no base or climax and can only be described as chaotic.

It you feel like digging deep into the narratives of these characters, then you don't need my permission or participation as I have already made my views clear.

Perhaps DD and anti share your fascination with thapar then you can chat about her with them.

I know you have, that's the problem with your type. When I posted the video, I wanted to generate discussion on what Thapar said in the video, not comments on Thapar herself. But that kind of discussion is clearly beyond your intellect.

I would believe you if you had bothered to counter a single argument she put forth in that lecture. And it's not that hard, she makes some good points and some not-so-good points.

Agree wholeheartedly. The govt is shooting itself in the foot trying to stifle freedom of speech.

But why should I bother with arbitrary arguments of the socialist kind? Why should I feed this gibberish?

You think people like "my type" can be goaded by taunts from a kanaiya, a naik and an arundhati?

Yes, you obviously can be, as has been recently proven from statements made by "your type"
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?" ~ Epicurus

If you weren't bothered you wouldn't be in this conversation. You obviously are. And for the nth time, what she said has nothing to do with socialism. Go look up the word in the dictionary before bandying it about.

Polarization is a politicians game. You are a citizen. That's beside your worldview shaped by your ideology.

Interesting thread title which doesn't says much about the history, intention, aim of the guy in question ie. Kanhaiyya Kumar who is notoriously famous.

This same JNU where guys spend almost a decade doign various course and "PhD", which is known for it's Marxist/Communist/Leftist agenda. He is doing PhD in "African studies" . WOW! What a great job prospect he has and I guess all top 500 MNC's would like to hire him in his inventions :))

Guys like these stay on govt funded(taxpayers) rooms/courses which is not even 10% of rent they would pay outside.Drugs/Prostitution rackets etc is reported by the JNU professors themselves. What kind of Azadi(freedom) he is after? If he wants to know what is freedom then he should first spend time in Saudi Arabia or China. These pests are wasting taxpayers money.

In the name of free speech any tom dick and harry can come and claim open support to a convicted criminal (traitor) like Afzal Guru and say they would bring Kranti(Revolution) and Azadi(Freedom). It's a known fact that JNU doesn't have any great technical job giving courses other than some Marxist infected things which can land someone as a professor teaching same things all their life.

Talking of pics, here is this guy in question whose role model is another shrewd Politician called Lalu Yadav who is actually a notorious convicted criminal and his name is synonym with corruption and lawlessness. He went to take "blessings" of Lalu and made a good friend who is a Liquor mafia don. This guy Kanhaiyya is a Political criminal in the making.

No wonder that the real Colleges/Universites students have no time for Freedom and such things since they want to study and make a good career.Only places like JNU can come up with such guys.So called "student" can just bring shame to students and their colleges. These idiots can just become drama queen and stoop low to Sedition to get noticed.

What is Kanhaiya's present status ? Out scot free or still banged up.

This story as far as i'm concerned is yet another PR stunt.

Right wingers get their asses handed to them in a left stronghold, go crying to Aunty who has to do something, they never expected the guy they fingered to commit suicide and then had to do a cleanup.

Nothing will happen to JNU, will continue as is and as it always did. Future politicians & bureaucrats will continue to spring out of there. That is until this country develops other universities that can compete with JNU.

Expecting less BS from HRD now that aunty has been shifted out and Javdekar is in charge. RSS has had their first pick of cnadidates hopefully now Modi gets his choices.

Why compare India with KSA & China, that isn't a fair fight. Pick better contenders. Where do we stand. When can we compete more fully with them. How free are we really.

As for Lalu, Bihar chose him, he routed the BJP. Now let them live with that choice. TOtal ban on alcohol was the first move, great news for the liquor mafia.

/\/\ I am yet to understand which party you support. Sometime you support congress, sometime you support BJP. And aunty? :-)
