  • Rugby world cup

Realised we don't have a thread.

With the pool stages near its end, it has been a great world cup so far.

The rule changes have brought back a running game, high scoring rugby, the expansion of the TMO (vido ref) had led to an even fairer, safer and better managed sport.

Japans's victory over South Africa was the greatest sporting moment I have ever witnessed.

The hosts, england out in the pool stages.

And Australia just beat Wales with a remarkable defensive performance, down to 13 men, defending on their own line without conceding.

Australia and New Zealand are the favourites imo, Australia have played 3 games against quality oppostion, so that has provided them with opportunities to impress, and they have done so, fluid in the backline, competitive on the ground with Pocock and Hooper, and very dangerous in the scrum.
