  • Iowa? in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

I saw a couple of shots of the Iowa? in the new Planet of the Apes trailer at:
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes | Official Final Trailer [HD] | 20th Century FOX - YouTube

    I got a screen cap

What could Iowa really accomplish with a bunch of inert shells in this situation?

    "Big boom! Scare monkey!"

Looks like she's near the brudge at 1:45 too.

Also Turret II looks to be operational :slap:.

Well, not so unbelievable. Don't forget, if they were to reactivate Iowa, they would finish the repairs on Turret 2. However, the rest of her fit in the image shows that not a LOT of detail was taken into account when they made that CG model anyway... :red:

Yea i thought of that later although getting the parts would be hard with mutant monkeys raiding trucks searching for bananas :danc:.

Maybe they stripped her of stuff during "the war"?

The cool thing is that the replacement parts are stored inside the turret. So, thankfully, no, the replacement parts are very easy to get a hold of. All is good. Just pull her into a ship yard, and during reactivation, all 9 guns are ready to go.
