At least 3 killed at Brussels Jewish Museum
    May 24, 2014

BRUSSELS (AP) — Belgian officials say that at least three people have been killed in gunfire at the Jewish Museum in Brussels. Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders, in a post on Twitter, said he was "shocked by the murders committed at the Jewish Museum" on Saturday afternoon. He said he had seen the bodies of the victims. Interior Minister Joelle Milquet said at least three were killed in the incident, and a Brussels fire department spokesman said one person was wounded. No details were immediately available, but according to RTBF, a Belgian broadcasting company, a person with a backpack opened fire then fled. Police have closed off the area around the museum, near the center of Brussels, and numerous ambulances were at the scene.

Some new info from flemish newssites:
"Ik zag een jonge vrouw met bloed op het hoofd" - HLN.be
Schutter Joods Museum laatst gezien aan Beurs - HLN.be

I'll try to give the main items in english:
    - There were probably 2 shooters, driving an Audi which they parked in front of the museum on the road (the sidewalk is blocked of with small concrete barriers). The passenger got out, followed by the driver who started shooting from the car. The passenger got inside the building and started shooting there.
    - The driver drove away with the car, driving toward the old stock exchange building in Brussels where he excited the car and left with 2 big bags. The police checked the nearby subway stations but nothing was found.
    - The shooter is described as a european type, dressed in dark clothes.
    - There are security images and witnesses have remembered the license plate, although the car has been found.

Ths is just what's in the papers and nothing is sure for now.

My thoughts are with the victims.

The four dead (two women and and two men) include an Israeli couple from Tel Aviv and two museum employees. All were shot in the face and neck. Belgian police were questioning witnesses and examining video from security cameras. The Jewish community in Belgium is 42,000 with about half living in Brussels which is the administrative center of the European Union.

            RIP

The problem is that anti-Semitism acts are being branded as being anti-Israel, and therefore "legitimate". Looking at most of the world's anti-Israel actors, you'll notice that they claim to be pious, human rights supporters, but just a slight scratch under the surface will reveal the true anti-Semite.

Roger Waters is but one example, but he exemplifies it perfectly.....

Suspect arrested over Brussels shooting, allegedly linked to Syrian jihadis
              June 1, 2014

French police have arrested a suspect over the shooting last week at the Brussels Jewish Museum who apparently has ties to jihadi elements in Syria, a local media reported on Sunday. French citizen Mehdi Nemmouche, 29, was arrested Friday at a customs inspection at the Saint-Charles bus station in Marseilles, while he was on a bus from Amsterdam via Brussels. Nemmouche had in his possession an AK-47 Kalashnikov rifle, the same type used by the Brussels shooter, and a GoPro portable camera, also though to have been used by the gunman. He was also carrying a revolver and ammunition and among his packed clothes had a baseball cap that resembled that worn by the shooter seen on CCTV footage of the attack.

Nemmouche, a resident of the city of Roubaix, was known to French security services and is suspected to have fought alongside Jihadi elements in Syria in 2013, returning only in March 2014, Le Figaro reported. Police suspect he may have turned to radical Islam during a jail sentence for robbery, which he served in 2012. French President Francois Hollande congratulated the police on the arrest, and urged all governments to mobilize and keep jihadi elements from returning to Europe, La Figaro reported. Hollande has said previously the attack was motivated by anti-Semitism.

The Israelis killed in the attack were Emmanuel Riva and his wife Miriam. Mr. Riva was a former employee of Nativ (Path) also known as the Liaison Bureau which assists Jews in the former Soviet Union countries with Aliyah (immigration) to Israel. The current head of the Liaison Bureau is Naomi Ben-Ami who served as the Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine 2003-2006. Ben-Ami immigrated to Israel in 1973 from Ukraine and holds a degree from Hebrew University in International Relations and Soviet Studies.
