  • Anand v Carlsen World Chess Championship

So following Viswanathan Anand's dramatic loss of the world crown last year he has won the qualification tournament to challenge the 'boy wonder' Magnus Carlsen again in November this year. I'm not a big Carlsen fan and Visi certainly wasn't at his best last year so I hope we have a better and closer match and Visi put's Carlsen in his place.

For non chess specialists as an intro please see Morphy's Immortal and/or Opera Game where the American Master beat the Duke of Brunswick and the (French) Count Isouard, who consulted together, in an opera box in Paris in 1858.
