Russia Is Prepared to Sell Iranian Oil as Its Own | The Jamestown Foundation

China is currently Iran’s biggest oil buyer, taking in some 420,000 barrels of crude a day in exchange for other goods. If the oil deal with Russia goes ahead, Iran may extend its shrunken oil exports by 50 percent and collect some $1.5 billion in extra revenue a month. This may undermine Western sanctions, which may have forced Iran to consider permanently constraining its nuclear program in the first place; while Russia may become Iran’s main oil buyer
If both Russia and China are buying Iranian oil and the U.S. pivot to Asia and their continuing sanctions on Russia following the Ukraine crisis last long enough, would closer economic relations between Russia and China curb this trend of Iranian Oil purchases or just help to offset sanctions imposed on Iran? I'm not sure myself, but would closer economic ties between Russia and China only help Iran in the long run and create a bidding war for Iranian Oil between Russia and China. If Russia can't use Iranian Oil, instead of buying and selling it, could this be used to offset trade deals between Russia and China. I'm thinking in terms of military hardware etc. Russia stops buying Iranian Oil, keeps the price of that oil low in exchange for trade deals with China.

I could be getting mixed up here but renewed China / Russia relations are not as unlikely as the once might have been given the current situation.

    It's just a thought.

First off, who the hell are you?

Second, what the hell are you talking about? All refinement facilities do their chemical analysis. They know exactly where their oil is coming from.

...and that's not good for you.

          Hopefully that shall quickly change.

"...Any [sic] may I ask why that is not good for me?"

                  Certainly.

Aside from a possible literacy issue there is no explanation for your question in light of a moderator suggestion to hasten your azz over to the intro thread. There you might properly introduce yourself to us.

Rather like a front door entry by invitation to a stranger's home.

You've instead chosen to slip in through the window, breaking a vase in the process.

Poor form and a tawdry display of down-under etiquette to date.

I'd reckon you're on the clock.
