In fact, the biggest slaughter was the Taiping Rebellion which was Qing, ie Turk, against Han in which Han suffered the most.

Not really disputing you but don't know how you arrived at that conculsuon.
    You just disputed him.

And the Qing is Turk now? So you are saying Manchus and Uighurs are the same ethnic group?

We're all Heinz 57s. The Jins, Turks, Mongols, as well as Han had mingled so much that you can't find a pure bred anything. However, I was referring to their military system which was more horse calavry than Ming fortifications.

I am not talking about the DNA's. I am talking about cultures/languages/religions here.

If I understand it right, the Manchus(Jins) were originated from Northeast China (Manchuria), they look pretty much like your average Hans today, Koreans or Mongols. Their language is Tungusic and they followed Shaman until the Communists took over.

While the turks were originated from Northwest China, they look central Asian. Use arabic scripts after some point in history, when they converted to Islam.

They might have something in common, riding horses, but that's the norm for all nomads living north of the great wall.

Military men look at the style of warfare and from my point, they are decedents of the Turk/Mongol ways of war.

The first word is Loan -- Chinese finance their projects just like the next guy. Should they send flowers to their mortgage officer every year? I don't think so. If the same argument holds truth China should be getting flowers from the US too ;-)

Anyways, CHina and Japan are both's largest trade partners, the degree of interdependence is getting larger, political crashes not standing. That is good thing.

                Is this real world?

Let me put this as something that might be easier for you to grasp:

So because Britain has given aid to India, Indians should shut up about the colonial rules in the past?

                When did that happen?

And I may add, the hate speech was towards the Koreans, so your whole wall of money numbers China received makes no sense.

                  Oh really?

Do these Americans make up the majority of America itself? Not at all.

Beliefs and speeches of extreme views happen all over the world. You can't just lump a group of people based on the words of a few.

Seriously, this is nothing but trolling.

Trying to assign minority or extremist behaviour to a the cultural mix of any nation is despicable. Your last is just abject nonsense
You are on really short finals

work out how to participate properly or don't get offended if Mod actions reflect the dim view of what the intent of this kind of posting style

When did I ever assign the extremist behavior to Japanese cultural as a whole? And a Wash Post report on Japan/Korea is not good enough for this sub-forum on East Asia?

Look, I was not the one equating death threats to Klan walks. I was pointing out those two are not equal.

This is not a multiple choice debate

I am sick to death of the needling that goes on re some nations/peoples.

I don't care if people are indian, pakistani, chinese, taiwanese, sunni, shia, kurds, kosovar, albanian, martian, klingon

this peurile slagging off that goes on motivated by nationalism needs to stop

It serves no purpose beyond reinforcing how damaging prejudice and bias are cyclic currencies which we all need to step away from.

Tone and intent should be foremost in everyones posting style.

I have no time for flamethrowers, internet grenadiers etc...

I don't care about protestations about "I didn't do anything" - "xx was worse" etc etc

Shift the game - and do it sooner rather than later
