    Col,
After converting all the armor divisions in to brigades in an one-to-two arrangement, latest reports suggesting that the motorized Infantry division is the next army unit to be converted into two brigades. Lets wait and see but the two that are cited are: 31st Motorized inf div, 14th GA, Chengdu MR and 115 Motorized Inf div, 39th GA, Shenyang MR.

Widening of the anti-corruption investigation in the PLA to the Beijing and Jinan Military Regions opens up a whole new can of worms.

Several top generals who were promoted even further at the November 2012 18th National Party Congress held substantial and recent positions in those two MRs, including Defense Minister and MAC member Chang Wanquan (Beijing MR Commander, 2003-04), , General Armaments Dept Director Zhang Youxia (Deputy Commander, 2005-07), and Chief-of-Staff Fang Fenghui (2007-12).

Politburo member and MAC Vice Chair Fan Changlong led the Jinan MR (2004-05), as well as working in the Beijing MR and being an old 16th Group Army buddy of the No. 1 Corrupt Person in the PLA, Xu Caihou.
