Didnt burn us, US & NATO completed what they set out to do. The writing is on the wall as far as their terror attacks now, if they choose not to heed its warnings then its their problem not ours. Maybe they need someone to be President that will fully understand that problem.

I think he's referring to the way that Jalal Talabani and Ahmed Chalabi played US intelligence in the early days of the Iraq invasion.

There are reports in the Israeli media stating that in 2012 Turkey revealed to Tehran the identities of 10 Iranians working for Israeli intelligence. These reports dovetail with Iranian press releases from April of 2012 that an Israeli spy ring was uncovered and 15 Iranians were placed under arrest.

It seems that Erdogan (NATO) is assisting Iranian intelligence in protecting Tehran's secret nuclear programs.

              Minnie,

Erdogan is a wolf in sheep's clothing. At the end of the day, it's Israel who have to stand out, even if that means exercising the Samson Option.

It seems nothing.Unless you have access to real intel data, which even if you do you can't comment upon.Rule no.1 wrt such allegations is that the media is a playground for the blue eyed boys.

The irony wrt ballistic missile defense is that the stated reasons are the Iranian nukes.

From Ex President George HW Bush

I will not believe in Iran’s peaceful intentions until they can irrevocably prove that it’s true,” Bush told the 1,200 guests at the gala of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, according to several people in attendance. “The United States’ foreign policy must be clear eyed and understand that until the form of government changes in Iran, it is unlikely that their intentions toward Israel will change.”

That may not be his intention. He just seems to have a bug up his a$$ about Israel. I'm more interested in finding out how the Turks knew about the spy ring when Iranian intelligence had no clue...

                      • 1.They had a source in the Israeli intel. By now,it's gone or more likely under Israeli control.
2.a.They created the ring and sold it to the Iranians, for whatever deals they have. The Iranians boasted for internal PR reasons. The Israelis use the opportunity to bad mouth the Turks.
b.One or several members of the ring were double agents
                        3. There was no genuine Israeli ring arrested. The Iranians created the ring on their own,to pat themselves on the back. The Israelis use the opportunity to bad mouth the Turks.
4.The network was genuine, but of seconday importance or a decoy. The Israelis checked the relation between the Turks and Iranians and/or covered more important assets.

Any idea why would Turkey want Iran to become nuclear?

The Turks and Israelis had always cooperated closely (50 years) in regard to intel ops. Since the Israelis were meeting with the Iranians on Turkish territory, HaMossad let Turkish intelligence know what was going on as a courtesy. Then the Mavi Marmara incident in 2010. Turkey and Israel broke off all diplomatic relations (only partially restored in 2013). It was during this period of outright animosity (2012) that Ankara supposedly informed Tehran what was going on. 10-15 Iranians were arrested and all were executed. This is the backdrop which to some degree explains why Netanyahu was so reluctant to reconcile with Turkey and why the dispute(s) required the personal intercession of Barack Obama to patch things up. This story first broke in the Washington Post - David Ignatius - who will not say if his source is Israeli, American, Turkish, or a combination.

                            • Iran gives Christians 80 lashes for communion wine as UN blasts human rights record
                              October 24, 2013

Four Iranian Christians were reportedly sentenced to 80 lashes for drinking wine for communion, a shocking punishment meted out even as a new United Nations report blasted the Islamic republic for its systematic persecution of non-Muslims. According to a new October UN report by Ahmed Shaheed, UN special rapporteur on human rights in Iran, such persecution is common, despite new President Hasan Rouhani's pledge to be a moderate.

The UN reported noted Iran’s “Authorities continue to compel licensed Protestant churches to restrict Persian-speaking and Muslim-born Iranians from participating in services, and raids and forced closures of house churches are ongoing…More than 300 Christians have been arrested since 2010, and dozens of church leaders and active community members have reportedly been convicted of national security crimes in connection with church activities, such as organizing prayer groups, proselytizing and attending Christian seminars abroad.

                              • Rouhani has no say regarding Judiciary.

And it is a mistake to think he will be any different than the presidents before him. He has repeatedly proven his absolute loyalty to the Leader and his cronies where the entire decisive and vital policies originate from.

Executive branch in Iran is there to handle the paperwork and stamp government documents.
