    First tin type photos taken in a war zone since the ACW

    Ed Drew Photography | Afghanistan, Combat Zone Tintype

    While not action shots still pretty cool.

    First time this has been done in the US since the Civil War.

    Really cool images and great idea. It is nice to see the photos in something I would class as a classic war photo. However, it sort of just seems really strange seeing everyone in their modern clothes. The mind takes a second to adapt I guess.
