another awesome article about how iraqis working for the Washington Post Baghdad Bureau have fared since 2003. some have done well, some not as much. i noticed a common thread; the people whom have done well tend to be resilient and optimistic. others have had some bad misfortune (see the fighter pilot, or the female translator), or were poorly treated by the DHS (sigh).
all in all, a very touching article showing how much lives can be changed in a decade. and the patriotism of many of these new immigrants never ceases to amaze and impress.
