Righteous Among the Nations

I've been reading wiki-thumb biographies of some of the Righteous Among the nations. Incredibly humbling, perhaps even more moving the stories of the survivors of the holocaust.

There are also a number of people who did a lot but were forgotten. There was at least one "underground railroad" of pretty ordinary German guys and gals that sheltered fugitive Jews in their houses by using false papers. If memory serves the core of the group was a book and dance club (!) that had absolutely no resources except their household incomes and their wits.
