        - 2 standard multirole wings (40 Eurofighter ea)
        - 1 oversized multirole wing (60 Eurofighter at two bases)
        - 1 strategic strike wing (B61 nukes + Taurus cruise missiles with Tornado IDS ASSTA-3 - was originally planned for EF conversion, now cut)
        - 1 recce wing, gaining SEAD role in 2016 (until then: one UAV squadron, one Tornado recce squadron)
        - 1 SEAD wing until 2016 (then dissolved)

The three multirole wings are the current JG73, JG74 and JaBoG 31, with JG71 reduced to a single squadron and attached to one of these three wings. The strategic strike wing will be JaBoG 33, the SEAD wing to be dissolved is JaBoG 32.

LHD squadron not existant until we buy those LHDs for obvious reasons. Planned around 2018.

First flotilla is and will remain dispersed to existing bases along the Baltic Sea. Corvette squadron at Rostock, MCM squadron at Kiel, Submarine squadron at Eckernförde. Second flotilla (frigates) concentrated at Wilhelmshaven on the North Sea. Kiel, Eckernförde and Rostock will have extra tenders and other ships (3 Type A404 and the sail training ship) attached to the bases for logistics and other purposes.

Well, the interesting stuff is of course missing from the above file too as it's classified. What all those "other agencies" do for example. Which of the bases are on which ring of the recently laid 6000 km of communications fibre, and which functions they have in those. How many men the individual units at a station have - the numbers for each station are rounded too btw. In which way the material depots and storage sites are specialized. That "Tactical Air Command and Control Group, Elements" refers to the now semi-automatized CRCs. What exactly each of those Electronic Warfare Battalion does (that's damn hard to find out anyway), because it sure as hell ain't only Electronic Warfare in the traditional sense (they do that too).

The Army has published a 136-page booklet on its transformation (here, in German).

Nothing really new in there, except for some rather nice pictures - some of which aren't all that widely spread. For example page 24 illustrates Operation Pegasus with German soldiers in Nafurah, Libya in 2011. The booklet outlines operations like this as one of the six future core operation types for the Bundeswehr.

The six logistics battalions and the special engineer battalion effectively serve as collecting units for logistics taskforces. These logistics taskforces are essentially based around establishing three deployable logistics bases (with rotation factor 3...), which at identical spread would look roughly like this:
                        • Field Camps for 900 men each (four camps)
                        • Field Fuel Supply Tank Farms (two farms)
                        • Forward Base Supply Point (three companies)
                        • Forward Base Maintenance Point (two companies)
                        • Forward Logistics Transport (one company) - specialized armored transport. Civilian contractors tacked on as-needed.
                        • Forward Land/Sea Logistics Hub (two hubs)
                        • Forward Land/Air Logistics Hub (two hubs)

These deployable logistics bases as above would each have roughly 2200 soldiers, and can be split down further to serve more theaters. The layout is based on the Afghanistan mission (with some modifications), with one such deployed logistics base previously deployed there. The logistics hubs can be located separately (e.g. for Afghanistan a land/air logistics hub is in Uzbekistan, a second land/air/sea logistics hub in Turkey).

                          First major item being revised:

The Bundeswehr is activating the two cadred battalions, and buying 103 used Leopard 2A4 from the industry for that - note that they're not touching the reserve stock for this, which is currently about 490 Leopard 2A4 (probably going down to about 360 through past-signed-not-yet-delivered sales; future sales of depot A4 have been declared not suitable to the current geopolitical situation, i.e. a "you don't get our tanks for virtually free like you used to, countries to our East").

The 103 A4 reactivated will be upgraded to A7 or similar standard "beginning in 2017". The buy-back cost for the vehicles as-is is about €220,000 per tank, which keeps the cost below the threshold of 25 million at which the parliament would have to approve it; it's also in similar regions to what the industry has been selling these eastwards (and southeastwards) for. The later upgrade will be a bit more pricey, and is conveniently pushed towards the next election (in Fall 2017).

The new number of active tanks is 328, split into 6 battalions of 44 (264), about four companies for the training centers (56) and a small number for upgrade testing for the procurement office (8).

New planned ToE for the Army:
                            • Tanks: 320 Leopard 2
                            • Heavy Armored: 342 Puma + 198 "other IFV" ("may use Marder")
                            • Medium Armored: 403 Boxer (being introduced), ca 315 Fuchs (retained)
                            • Light Armored: 248 Fennek (154 recce; 70 JFST; 24 engineer recce)
                            • Artillery: 101 PzH 2000, 38 MARS
                            • Helicopters: 102 NH90, 40 Tiger

Boxer and Fuchs are treated as a single ("wheeled APC") item throughout the Bundeswehr, total number of 1300 planned. This reflects the last cap of 1170 combined (272 Boxer + ca 565 Fuchs in Army + ca 333 Fuchs otherwise) with the planned extra 131 Boxer accounted for. Apparently one Fuchs dropped in lieu of all incoming Boxers.

Artillery gains extra PzH 2000 (from depot stocks) but loses the WaBEP loitering attack drone program that was cancelled in 2012 already. Original cap as designed in 2011 planned for 2 WaBEP firing units.

NH90 number for army stays at 80; the 22 extra are for a multinational CSAR unit planned out last year. Will be stationed in Germany.

                            • Air Defense: 14 Patriot batteries (50% reduction), 4 Mantis C-RAM batteries (introduction 2012)
                            • Zero-funded: 19 CSAR helo modules
New planned ToE for the Air Force:
                            • Combat: 138 Eurofighter, 85 Tornado
                            • Transport: 64 CH-53, 59 STH, 40 A400M, 4 A310-304-MRTT

                            • Air Defense: 14 TLVS batteries, 2 Mantis C-RAM

STH ("heavy transport helo") will replace CH-53 beginning in 2025. Not planned out yet or design chosen as far as i know. STH will have integral CSAR capability.

SLWÜA is basically "whatever will carry the Eurohawk sensor package" - not necessarily unmanned. SAATEG intermediate solution is Heron TP (not to full amount).

TLVS is Germany's MEADS followon; MEADS radar with PAC3 and IRIS-T SLM missiles. Mantis is cut to the numbers procured so far (no real need for anti-rocket defense for field camps now that we've bugged out of AFG) and will be supplemented by a nebulous "close defense initiative".

Planned ToE revisal for the Navy:
                            • Adding 6 extra NH90 (one each for MKS180)
                            • Dropping JSS from list

Extra NH90 for MKS180 (one each); JSS capability realized through future joint procurement with Poland and possible intermediate solution with Netherlands.

MKS180 has since been fleshed out as what other countries would call a destroyer. 7000+ tons, AAW and ASW integrated.

Planned additional ToE for the Joint Support Force (not on the list, but here for completeness sake):
                            • 5 SAR-Lupe satellites will get replaced by 3 SARah satellites
                            • 2 communications satellites orbited since then
