      • Hello, Bic_cherry from Singapore.

Government is kinda repressive here and I am looking for a place to safe keep some of my post about the country that I come from. I wonder if it's safe here. 🤔

Wow, cannot edit my own posts in this forum .

Anyway, the following post I have posted to my own local forum but high chance it will get deleted by the local authorities here. Hopefully this essay can still be found by Google even though the original on my local forum is censored by the authorities here.
          =======

Singapore and DPRK (North Korea) ruling political families are cut from the same cloth?
North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un (L) is welcomed by Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong (AFP Photo/ROSLAN RAHMAN)

Singaporeans (69.9% of them at last count (GE2015)) vote for PAP not out of hope, but out of fear (cowardice) instead.

Kiasu, kiasee, kiaboh (scared to lose, die or be in lack respectively: aka cowardice) : all this results in Singaporeans playing into the trap of PAP, so PAP can toy around with Singaporeans as a cat plays with a rat (it's food).

Singaporeans are basically slaves by choice who have refused to escape their masters even though every 5 years, they are given the constitutional chance to choose their leaders via general elections, yet every 5 years, they hypnotically conform to warnings and threats that failure to vote as instructed will result in absurd and unjust penalties being imposed (e.g. deliberate though imprisonment in passenger lifts because political pressure is imposed on government bodies to delay/ withhold essential rescue / humanitarian services from opposition political constituencies / wards).

Singapore is a perfect case to study the stolkholm syndrome on a national scale.

North Korea is similar but there are geographic and historical reasons for the DPRK situation but Singapore has one of the world's highest GDP and supposed to have world's best education and males supposed to be military, police/ civil defence trained through compulsory national service.

Like North Korea, the PAP government is very cunning and systematically suppresses any political opposition and holds government services ransom in case districts vote in opposition parliamentarians. A very large proportion of Singapore cabinet ministers are also ex military generals (career soldiers).

Singapore and DPRK (North Korea) ruling parties are cut from the same cloth.

          Correct?

          https://wakeupsg.com/2018/10/27/chia...iscriminating/

In a more recent case, Singapore's ruling PAP party misused the Attorney General Chambers (AGC) as their private party election manager/ agent despite the AGC supposed to be fully above any political bias as the 1997 Cheng San GRC case evidences:

I always wonder if future historians will remember Lee Hsien Loong as the power crazy/ greedy son who will bring Singapore from first World to third by increasing wealth inequality and tearing the social fabric of Singapore apart.

Sorry if this post isn't so appropriate, but it does serve as in introduction of sorts and I also cannot post any thread till I have 25 posts count and do urgently need safe keeping space away from the censorship authorities here, so please be understanding in this regard.

Hopefully there can be an edit post function for full members and allow avatar use as well. Edit post function will make forum much more user friendly since time is allowed to make corrections for factual mistakes without need to make too many extra posts to correct a previous typo or grammar mistake etc.

The reason for the restrictions is the board gets spam bot attacks from time to time.

              Welcome to the board

              • I use message boards to pass time so that I don't sit there and veg, making my mind mold up. I am not a political person and the only reason that I joined a political message board is to shoe to those people that have attacked me from a political soapbox for much of my life what my personal say-so is and then drop it completely at some point (probably when Trump leaves office) and return to using my down time for the things that I want to do.

Apparently U.S. politics need smart friends badly because their drowning in stupidity. Anyways, this has become rewarding in some ways as the U.S. political climate changes and the Republicans give some of our power back and declassify some cool stuff and allow us to build ourselves up instead of liquedating us down like the left strives to do.

I was recently faced with a political dilemna, a hypothetical. Say, if Western democracy and free states fell and imploded, what side would you leap to?
1.) The autocratic side (Monarchy, Dictatorship)
2.) The socialist side (cimunnism, liberalism)
I chose 1, the autocratic side because I realized something about how it is all put together and you know what, I'd dedicate my life to fighting the commies if it were necessary, and I don't mean with words, I mean with firearms, explosives and an organized full-force attack.

I'm glad I found this international forum because I don't plan to stay in America too long. I want to leave. Being American has been a horrible terrible experience and I don't got anything tying me down to this country. Nothing that could irrevocably make me want to stay. So, I'm going to leave on a non-sour note and return to the continent of my bloodlines origin. Europe.

                • How do I edit my posts? This phone has "auto-incorrect" and changed "show" to "shoe" and I'd like to change it back to what it was originally.

Welcome. Which country are you planning to immigrate to? I suppose one among - Finland/Sweden/Denmark/Norway?

                        • Hi Everyone, and its nice to be back.

The forum seems to be rather lacking in new blood as viewed from my short time here - and hoping that changes in this new decade.

I last posted in 2007 as a teenager, and although have seen my old account - don't have the password or email any longer. Hence, can't reclaim it.

But looking forward to viewing topics here as and again with an open mind :-)
