    Should Women Serve in Combat?

Apologies of this has been discussed before.

My own belief is that they should not. Here is a scenario: Imagine if all Allied and US troops in 1944 were women. We'd all be speaking Japanese or German now. And if females are not as reliably effective as men in large formations, they have no place at all in combat.

I believe you've just insulted at least 10% of the Soviet Red Army who bled and died fighting Hitler to the last man.

Plus the IDF's entire Caracal battalion, artillery, MP, and a whole bunch of other women accessable combat units

But what would the situation have been if the enemy were also all women

You haven't backed your assertion at all with that scenario. Do you see them as physically unfit for combat? Mentally? What is it? Whether or not women in general are typically not as physically/mentally fit (which is questionable upon itself) is irrelevant. What matters is if they pass the requirements set forth by the armed services. If they make the cut, why does it matter?

They are in combat, flying missions in attack helicopters, carrier-based fixed wing attack aircraft and taking fire piloting and crewing CASEVAC helos. Get with the program, brother.

Discussed in root-canal detail in the past. For your Reading pleasure:

Should women be allowed in combat roles?

    Women flying in combat

If you have something new to add to the debate, feel free, but this topic has been well flogged, and those who make the decisions have spoken. Women are already in combat, either directly, or indirectly, as their support units mix it up with the enemy.
