  • Female Special Operations/forces members/units of countries

I would like to compile a list of countries which field female special operations/forces members/units.

    I will start with Turkey:

Both the Chief of the General Staff and the Turkish Police Special Operations units have female members which undergo the same stringent training the males undergo. Below are some pictures:

        Think about it.

Women with those shooter skills aren't going to be used to clear rooms and fast rope for the camera. Their faces will be...protected as the identity of those whom can shoot your ballz off might be valuable.

Anybody else notice that in the second picture the lead shooter is holding her pistol sideways, like some kind of gang member?

also, long hair = no no.
There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."- Isaac Asimov

Actually that's pretty much the only way of holding the pistol when operating with the ballistic shield.Only it needs to be a higher to be able to see the sights through the visor(given that's a picture it's not really an issue in this case). No 2&3 however, are keeping the muzzle a bit too close to the person in front of them. Not good.

Police and CT units tend to have women in their ranks, mainly for auxilliary roles, but not only.Norwegian Delta has some sniper women, that are very good at their job.Still ,even the auxilliaries need specific training, just in case.
The only military SOF units that I remember right now to include women as operatives are Polish Grom and the some Spetsnaz detachments.
But the real problem women pose is the conventional one. They actually don't need uniforms, guns etc.. to screw you. Some may even cause suicides.VERY dangerous foe. However, with proper presents and an obscene amount of flowers, even the most dedicated can be turned into an ally.

S-2 the beauties in the photo's shown above are from the Turkish Police Special Operations Unit. There duties are usually limited to Close Protection of the First family, foreign head of state protection, Counter-Terrorism and crtical infastructure protection etc.

The Chief of the General Staff Special operations unit members identity is always protected by law and the Turkish Intelligence apparatus has a close watch on their lives even after retirement.
