Resident expert on this evaluation would be artillery engineer. Maybe he'll get a look. Might want to drop him a P.M. with a link to the thread so he can do so.

The M-777 has been copied though, the singaporeans have made a knockoff
It wouldn't be unreasonable to think that chinese intel has a capacity to pull details out...
arty-e is probably more than familiar with it as he's directly involved with M-777 testing and trials. He's probably aware of how "naughty" the Sings were as well...
I can email him if nec as he and I have each others work email addresses....
Thank you for your reply. After some digging/asking and I have received some sales brochures from a friend, This truck-mounted offering could be the same gun as the new light 155mm how.
that is my impression as well. Thailand, a traditional Chinese arms export target has Caesar in service, I am sure Norinco offers a cheaper solution.
As most of the PLA's 155mm systems can track their linage back to Dr Bull, when he was consulting in the 1980s. I am wounding if Norinoc mounts its adoption of NORICUM's GH N-45 into a track or somehow reduce its weight for heli-transport and call it a M777 "like".

the next clue will be when we see it underslung - eg under a Hip or something smaller......
My word!!!!!! That Chinese copy is much closer than the Singaporean Pagasus. At least the Sings went to the trouble of designing their own lower carriage.

Have had a chance to study these pics in a bit more detail and am left with te impresion that this is a VERY Early Prototype/Concept Demonstrator. Actually are some significant differences to the M777. Will elaborate more ASAP. Would love to see some more pics if they are available.

Forgot to add that if anyone has any more pics/promo info on this please PM me and I will provide my email address. BAE and the Program Office are keen to gather any info out there. Interesting that one on the things on the Presidential agenda with the Chinese was intelectual property and copywrite issues lol!!!
