Only thing I could find was a thread over at the kbismarck forums, where some guy claims he's seen photos from some private collection of them both together....and is supposedly trying to get them released.
There is some other alleged photo of them supposedly taken overhead from an ME-109, but the people in that same thread say it's a fake.

You know about this web site? Bismarck & Tirpitz I went through the pictures, did not see any. I am a big WWII German Navy fan, I do not recall seeing them together in any pictures.
Bismarck...
Launched 2/14/39, commissioned 8/24/40 & sunk 5/27/41.
Tirpitz...
Launched 4/1/39, commissioned 2/25/41 & sunk 11/12/44.
They were launched within 2 months of each other but commissioned 6 months apart. They would have had time to work up together. According to the both ships operational history, Hitler inspected both ships at Gdynia on 5/4/41 and he stayed aboard for about 4 hours. It would be really great to see them together in a picture.Last edited by Ken_NJ; 29 Jan 10,, 03:36.

There are few, you just need to know where to look. Ill try to find them over the weekend. Some may also be in private collections. It's not out of the ordinary to find pictures in private collections that have not been published before.Last edited by Dreadnought; 29 Jan 10,, 15:12.Fortitude.....The strength to persist...The courage to endure.

In Baron Müllenheim-Rechberg’s book (I have a copy) there is only one sentence regarding a brief sighting of TIRPITZ in the Gulf of Danzig. And no mention in Bismarks book. If she was sighted briefly by Bismark then I can imagine this photograph from the me109 could not possibly be all that clear. Supposeldy they had sailed together for approxiamtely 6 hours but yet no mention of this in the Baron's book or Bismarks. I guess only time will tell if indeed such a picture exists. We will have to wait and find out.Last edited by Dreadnought; 02 Feb 10,, 19:16.Fortitude.....The strength to persist...The courage to endure.
