First "delil" (guide) and than through their toughness they were called "deli" (mad). They made up by Turks, Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs. Mads fought on first line of war with their weird clothes. It is believed that some of them fought naked whois training was slaping hot marble. Those naked Mads either kill or put to sleep enemy with one slap and broke enemy moral. Their motta was "What is written on faith, comes to head." Motta is my translation so it can be little bit diffrent.
