      notice I post a Polish link... I am sure the Russian number estimates are higher and the truth is somewhere in the middle. My guess its around what Katyn amounted to.


      I actually find it odd that after 1920 Polish gov't officials didn't expect USSR to try to reclaim those parts of Ukraine and Belorussia they ceded to Poland. It was common sense really that sooner or later they would try to get those parts back. The division of Poland was really not a surprise if you think reasonably.
