Some more suggestions, mixed categories. These are all favorites from my own library, that I have found to be both worth reading more than once, and giving as gifts. I have tried to arrange these suggestions by category, and also suggest other places where they fit.

For anyone not familiar with Kuniczak's work, I find it to be the single, best work on the start of the war, fiction or non-fiction. It reflects not only the broad facts, but also evokes the feelings and experiences of those who lived through it. It is an epic story, told in a befitting manner.

Yes, I'll check on it. I think it may not be possible... regional Amazons seem to be separate websites and they have their own aStores.

    Matt,

It occoured to me that if you are listing movies on WAB you might also be interested in listing some relevant documentaries. There is some great stuff on DVD these days that would compliment the readings & movies.

If you think this would work say so & we can chip in with some good ideas.

Just thought I'd let everyone know, the WAB Library & Bookstore has been tweaked a little bit. I've embedded it in a frame on the WAB site, graphically integrated it into the forum, and placed search boxes for titles not listed that members from the US, Canada, and the UK can use. Additional countries can be added upon request.

Unfortunately there is no Australian Amazon.

    Amazon site problems

I don't know if it is just me, but since the international search boxes were placed in the WAB Bookstore I can't see or access the right hand column of books in each section. This could just be my crappy browser (not using my desktop currently), but it may affect other users too.

BF, I've made a few adjustments. Let me know how it looks now. What resolution and browser/version are you using? I know that there will be problems in 800x600, and another members told me there's been display issues in Firefox 1.5.

    Matt,

That may have helped a bit. I can now get most of the right hand column & the all important shopping cart if I close the favourites menu I normally have open.

I've just been using Internet Explorer 5.1 I think. I don't normally use this computer & I am about to resume using my old one, so hopefully that one will be OK. The fact it is a laptop might have something to do with the problem.

    Thanks for helping out.

Another thing that will effect how much is displayed is if you've got the text zoomed or not (pressing Ctrl + scroll on the mouse in and out).

edit: I'm on a 15-inch LCD moment, and I've noticed part of the right column is cut off.

I had to revert a bunch of stuff. I'll be working on it later today, at the moment I have to run over to the hospital, my brother's having surgery.
