  • China, Bosnia-Herzegovina agree to enhance military relations

Miladin Milojcic, chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia-Herzegovina said he will step up military cooperation and exchanges with China.

Milojcic met with Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie in Beijing on Friday.

No specific details were released but Liang said, China is ready to work with Bosnia-Herzegovina to promote the bilateral relationship in an all-around way, on the basis of mutual benefit and equality.

Liang also appreciated Bosnia-Herzegovina's adherence to the one-China policy, and expressed China's gratitude for support on issues related to Taiwan, Tibet, the Beijing Olympics and human rights.

Milojcic said he was impressed by China's development during the visit. He added that he cherished the kindness and hospitality extended by the Chinese people.

China forged diplomatic ties with Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1995.

    China's export to Bosnia-Herzegovina in January-September of this year reached 57,640,000 U.S. dollars, up 42.7 percent year-on-year.

      Hudechao,

PLA daily has a list of visiting foreign generals on the daily basis, and they are white noise mostly. It is the action, not words that counts.
