Do you know what happened this week back in 1850, 158 years ago?

    California became a state.

    The State had no electricity.

    The State had no money.

    Almost everyone spoke Spanish.

There were gunfights in the streets.

So, basically, it was just like it is today except back then the women had real breasts and the men didn't hold hands.

And all those Cowboys riding in the sunset never felt lonly?? (always wondered what the big deal of that gay cowboy movie was, at least here the whole cowboy image, as portrayed in many western, often seen as kinda...homoerotic...uh I guess I get killed for this post, won't I?)
