Yup S2, Cambrai, it was won by the British and is still celebrated each year by the tank regiments, whereby the Officers and senior ranks wake up the troops, called gunfire, with a hot cup of tea laced with rum ,and then they serve the troops their main meal , its also a time for sports, off V troops etc etc all in fancy type dress if they wanted, and the night time festivities are rounded off with an all ranks ball, it / is/was, a day when the troops could get away with calling the officers by their Christian names, and the day in general was great fun, as i think mayhem was the order of the day, YOU WILL ENJOY YOURSELF SOLDIER, and remember the men who died so you can go and celebrate... pass the bottle opener... Rupert, sir. :)

This tank was the only operational German tank of WWI.

uh..I did not even realize that Irondukes post was the next question, I thought it was simply a comment to the previous post^^

btw: A7V stand for Allgemeines Kriegsdepartement 7 Abteilung Vekehrswesen, which means about as much as Genereal Waroffice 7: Traffic-section , which was the office responsible for creating it.

Sounds as mysterious as the "Tank" designation given to the MK V's .

I think you inadvertently answered the question Tarek so you get to stump us I think.

Soviet 76.2mm P. obr 36 anti-tank gun. Some where mounted to German chassis with carriage still attached to make the Marder.

Or the Luftwaffe field units Flak-15 88mm guns.

I am the biggest most powerful armored vehicle deployed by the Soviet Union in WW2.

Hint#1 I am not part of the Animal killers family of assault guns.

Hint #2 I did see combat

Hint #3 I am not a piece of captured equipment.
