    You are correct! My original photo was a little deceiving as the single engine design wasn't too apparent. Rumint has it that the J-10 design was heavily influenced by the IAI Lavi.

    This plane was rare for catapult launched scout planes, in that it had an inline engine.

    The manufacturer of this plane was much better known for a component of this type of plane than the plane itself.
    You will see a lot of their product in Alaska.

    What I have learned in researching naval planes is less than half of all float planes built where ever accepted by the Navy.
