And here we are today, with the 2007 defense budget for Russia to include 17-19 new nuclear ICBMs, a record since the collapse of the Soviet Union. North Korea has confirmed going nuclear, MIRV technology was provided to China, and a potential nuclear reactor in Syria was bombed by Israel. Iranian nuclear controversy is heating up, and India and Pakistan are still on the brink of nuclear war.
North Korea, China, Syria, and add in anybody you want, all of them combined don't even come close to one superpower, let alone both. The two toughest, meanest, deadliest armies history has ever seen dwarfed what is there today and be thankful that those two armies saw fit not to fight.
