18 years ago today : "We Remember Turret Two"

On April 19, 1989, 08:55, 47 sailors died when five bags of propellant ignited in the open chamber of the center 16-inch gun of the battleship U.S.S. Iowa’s turret II.

May their souls rest in peace.
